About the Owner

Hello and thank you for visiting 9 West St Unit 5 in Charleston SC. I love Charleston and hope to retire there someday although right now I am living in Marietta, a suburb of Atlanta. I have a nine year old daughter and 26 year old son who has moved back to Atlanta from Chicago to accept a position in the finance field. The unit offers maid service and on call maintenance service should you need anything during your stay. Please let me know if I can do anything to make your stay exceptional and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me!

Wonderful Stay!

  • 5 of 5
Thank you, Mary, for allowing us to stay in your charming home. The house is in a great neighborhood and is completely walkable to the majority of Charleston attractions. It was wonderful having a parking space right there so we didn't have to worry about the car. The house itself is quite small, but is nicely furnished and very cozy. It was perfect for our purposes. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed Our Visit

  • 4 of 5
We found this townhouse to be clean, nicely furnished, and the pictures represent the property exactly as advertised. The owner was very responsive and I would definitely recommend this unit. Having the parking space was certainly a plus as well. This property is on one side of the historic district, so if you want to go to the other side it is quite a hike but doable.

Early May 2014 stay

Perfect cute, clean, great amenities-Great location-good parking-a little tricky to find but once we did never moved the car until we left for the airport! Market area a short 2 blocks away-cute shops/restaurants/tours nearby. Several coffee places close by for morning eats-off a nice quiet street. Would recommend Henry's roof top & Pavilion Hotel roof for drinks. VRBO description spot on and owner very attentive/quick to response. Loved our Visit!

Loved Charleston

  • 4 of 5
We arrived to spend the week in Charleston. We found the place to be very quaint and clean. The one disappointment we had though was the fireplace was not working and we did not know this until we arrived. It was unseasonably cool and it would have been nice to have the fireplace working. It was also freezing in the living area in the morning, due to the thermostat being upstairs. This was a little puzzling since heat rises, but there was a space heater that seemed to help. Parking is VERY tight. I would not recommend driving a SUV as there is very little space. We were parked literally right next to another vehicle where you had to go through the passengers side to gain entry.
