1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 7

The Lodge at Copper, located in New Village at Copper, is a true ski-in/ski-out building and the mountain’s most sought after lodging address.

Put your “sticks” on at the building’s back door and ski down to the American Flyer lift. At the end of the day or just for a cocoa break, cruise down Scooter run to the same door. No lugging skis and boards across the village! Truly no-hassle skiing and riding!

This updated and tastefully decorated unit is approximately 780 square-feet and located on the second floor of The Lodge at Copper and sleeps 7.

If cooking is your thing, the kitchen has updated appliances and is stocked with all the cookware, plates, gadgets, glasses and utensils you’ll need to whip up a feast fit for the high country!

Long day on the slopes? After dropping your boards and skis in the heated ski locker room, skip the cooking, and treat yourself to dinner in the village! Afterward, retire to the living room and screen a movie on the massive 48-inch wall-mounted flat-screen tv with dvd and surround-sound. Whatever you choose to watch, turn on the gas fireplace to perfect the ambiance!

Maybe you are achy from using those ski-and-ride muscles??? Grab a towel and head over to either The Lodge’s outdoor hot tub or one of four saunas located on each floor.

When it’s time to turn in and recharge those batteries for tomorrow’s epic powder, the bedroom has a 46-inch flat screen tv to catch the late show--and you won’t need your glasses!!! Nestle down into those fine linens and super-comfy mattress. Got kids? Pop some corn and send them off to camp out on the bunk beds in the living area alcove. If you’re making it a true family affair, grandma and grandpa can keep an eye on the kids in the living area when they snuggle in to the queen and twin pull out sofa beds.

If you want to be first-chair, hurry----but first lather up in the stunning tumbled-marble, glass-enclosed shower! Close off the shower area's alder wood door and your guests can use the double-sinked vanity, with wall-mounted 10x magnifying mirror and hair dryer. With two of you getting ready at the same time, you’ll be first chair for sure!!!

Linens and towels are provided for 4 people. Additional may be requested.

No contact with the outside world for a few (glorious) days and need to check in (or maybe you just want to fb or twitter some fabulous photos to make your friends green with envy!)? We’ve got you covered either way with free, password-protected wireless internet service.

If your base layers need freshening, our building’s new washing machine and dryer are located on the first floor and will spiff up those togs in short order!

Before you leave us, make sure to watch the snow fall or listen to the summertime babble of our beautiful stream from the balcony off the living room---no hot tub chatter on this side of the building to disturb the solitude!

Smoking is not permitted in the unit or on balcony at any time.

By now you surely have decided to come for a visit! As you pull up to the extensively renovated lodge at copper building, you can park your car in the heated garage located underneath the building. If friends come a calling, they can park their sleigh in your other parking spot, located on the stream-side of the building. An elevator makes easy work of getting your suitcases up to the second floor.

Skied yourself silly tired? The copper coach runs 8:30 a.M. To 11:00 p.M. Please call 15 to 20 minutes prior to the desired pick-up time. Copper coach runs 7 days a week (through April 20th, 2014).

Hope to see you soon!

This is a great condo and is one of the few truly ski in ski out locations at Copper. The owner/manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely rent again.

First time skiers to Colorado. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Being a true ski in and ski out condo and having digital door lock allowed everyone to come and go as they please. The condo is updated and very comfortable. Fabulous!

This condo was exactly as presented. It was well equipped for my family of 4 and tastefully decorated. It was true ski-in ski-out; I literally put my skis on 5 feet from the building and skied back to the same spot for 3 days! I had a few info questions the first night when I got there and got a quick and pleasant response from the property manager.
Location in Center Village was great and Copper Mountain is the best! Will definitely be back!

Suprised when I walked in

  • 5 of 5
I was at a larger condo in Copper and needed 5 more days - booked this quickly and upon arrival I was very surprised by the nice finishes - size and ski-in location of this condo - It had everything you need and is right in Center Village Slopeside - would recommend and stay again!

Good but nothing special

  • 4 of 5
Before providing you my opinion I think it is importatn to let you know that I this was a family vacation - wife, son (15), and daughter (12). With the exception of myself, we are first time skiers so spent most of our time in the west side of the resort. The condo was located in Center Village which is OK if you don't need to go to Ski School (West Village). The room was OK but small and nothing special. The underground parking was great and if you do spend time in Center Village the location is great. Cleanliness was OK. The shower could use a good cleaning.

The Lodge at Copper is indeed classified as being part of New Village/Center Village—-but is actually approximately a city block west of Center Village ‘proper’ and a stand-alone, ski in/out building. It’s a great location because it is a quick walk to dinner AND because the building isn’t located right beside the noise and hubbub of the restaurants and bars in the heart of Center Village.
The Ski School is a "slide" (neither totally up nor down hill) west down the path behind our building---- or Copper Coach can be dialed for a lift from the front door.
I had multiple email exchanges with a party in this group. She asked me about discounted lift tickets and how to access the building and condo. I gave her my phone number and specifically stated that should she have any questions or concerns, not to hesitate to contact me.
I never got a phone call, email or text about building location in regard to the Ski School, a dirty shower or any other dissatisfaction.
I did, however, receive a text stating the family planned to be checking in at FOUR PM SHARP, even though I communicated to the party that our housekeeper was hospitalized with an anaphylactic reaction to mangoes and I, the owner, and another housekeeper would be personally cleaning the unit and may run very close to 4 p.m. finishing up the job. The group checked in on time with no issues.
Regarding the tumbled marble shower: the marble is tan and dark brown with darker flecks. If the marble is what is being referred to as unclean, then this is NOT an accurate statement. The 3/4-inch thick glass shower door does get a lime buildup from our hard mountain water. If the glass is what is being referred to as unclean, I can say that it is cleaned as well as possible between visits and descaled between seasons.
The reviewer refers to the unit as “small.” The square footage is accurately stated in the VRBO/Home Away description as 780 square-feet. The unit is also referred to by the reviewer as “nothing special”. Everyone has an opinion and different style tastes, however, the VRBO listing shows MULTIPLE, well-lit photos that accurately depict the unit’s interior.
The reviewer asked that we waive the 4-night minimum stay requirement because we had 3 nights available; we agreed to the request.
