Brigadoon II is the second in the Brigadoon family of luxury cabins. Brigadoon I- 5 bedroom 455378 and Brigadoon III - 2 bedroom 624459 complete the set.

Brigadoon II is a stunning, luxury, two bedroom true log cabin - the perfect getaway! You have the splendor of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Mt. LeConte in your own backyard yet it is easily accessible and conveniently located only minutes (3 miles) from light #3 in downtown Gatlinburg and a short drive to Pigeon Forge. Additionally, it is only 10 minutes from the new multi-million dollar 'Rocky Top Sports' complex and the Gatlinburg Community Center that offers an indoor pool, bowling, racquetball plus other activities.

This beautiful two story, custom built log home is located above the famous Arts and Crafts Community of Gatlinburg and enjoys spectacular 180 degree panoramic views of the Smoky Mountains and Mt LeConte while being on a large private lot with ample flat parking and a flat grassy area with a fire pit for those s'more roasting evenings!

The living area of this luxury cabin is beautifully decorated with upscale rustic decor, local artwork, a stone stacked gas fire and hardwood floors. Enjoy movies or a sporting event on the new 55' flat screen HDTV complete with a 300W Sound Bar to offer the full 'theater room' experience. The dining area is furnished with a table that seats 4-6 and a kitchen bar that seats an additional 2 adults comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare everything from a snack to a gourmet meal. If outside grilling calls then choose between the gas fired grill or the charcoal grill. The kitchen cabinets are fully stocked with ample pots, pans, tableware and silverware.

Also on the main level is a master bedroom with a king size bed, 42' flat screen t.v, blue ray dvd player, large selection of DVD's and an adjoining full bathroom. Walk out of the living area onto a wrap around deck with breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountain National Park and Mount LeConte. Enjoy dinner outside or relax with your morning coffee on the solid, log rocking chairs. Let's not forget the hot tub, the fire pit and the ample level parking.

The upper level loft boasts a cathedral wall of glass with spectacular views, a spacious area with a pool table, bar stools and table and a 42' HDTV with a blue ray disc player. New for Spring 2014 is a full length covered upper deck for our guests enjoyment. There are two single chairs that convert to beds (suitable for small children) and a selection of board games for our guests entertainment. The private second master bedroom is also on this level. It has a king size bed, HDTV, blue ray player and an adjoining full en-suite bathroom.

The cabin is fully WiFi enabled and also has cable TV.

This is the perfect location for a one or two family get together, couples getaway, romantic honeymoon or anniversary celebration and a girls/guys get away.

We are also delighted to share that, this summer, two beautiful couples decided to be married at the cabin with the stunning Smoky Mountains as a backdrop. Photo's will be posted shortly!

We named our cabin ' Brigadoon II' after the musical (with Gene Kelly) about a mythical and magical village in Scotland, UK. We truly believe that the beauty of our cabin and its location is magical and we would like to invite you to experience your very own Brigadoon - a touch of magic in the Smokies!!

We first listed on VRBO on Oct. 2013 and we are very proud of the wonderful reviews we have received. Guests have left comments such as 'absolutely gorgeous', ' magical', 'exceptionally clean', 'attention to detail', 'incredible views' and ' ideal location'.

About the Owner

My husband and I both grew up in England and moved to the United States (the Cincinnati area) over 20 years ago. We have always enjoyed vacationing in the Smoky Mountains and have been repeat visitors with our family for many years. We have stayed at many cabin locations throughout the region and were delighted when we were able to purchase this cabin which is located in our favorite location of all - the Arts and Craft area of Gatlinburg.

Perfect Cabin and Vacation

  • 5 of 5
I rented Brigadoon II for my boyfriend’s 26th birthday and couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend! The cabin itself is in immaculate condition, very clean and super warm and inviting. Debbie truly thought of everything we would need for our vacation. The house was labeled with directions for TV, WiFi, how to work showers, etc. The view was my favorite part personally. The cabin sits up on the highest hill so you feel secluded even with neighboring cabins. We enjoyed spending the majority of the time sitting out by the fire pit soaking in the breathtaking view. During the day we went to a close local bar/restaurant called Jimmy’s and had an amazing meal! For our other meals we enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed a short drive to the ski slopes for some night skiing and the hot tub at the cabin was perfect to return to. The entire weekend was incredible and I would HIGHLY recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone. This trip we went with a group of friends and it was perfect but my boyfriend and I are already wanting to come back for a romantic getaway for just us two before the season is over! I would give this cabin and overall experience a 10/10!

Owner's Response: Thank you Leah for your great review and high recommendations for other potential guests. I am glad your boyfriends 'surprise' birthday trip was everything you hoped it would be. We want our guests to be able to settle into the cabin quickly (so they have more time for fun) and also to feel like is their home too. We have clear instructions in the cabin and I also send a 'quick start' guide with tips and information about the cabin.

Fabulous Cabin with a Great Location and Amazing Views!!

  • 5 of 5
This was our third stay in Gatlinburg, but by far it was our favorite place to stay and enjoy the mountains!! The cabin was very clean, roomy, and had everything we needed. If we happened to miss bringing some food items or ran out because we stayed in the cabin so much, there was a grocery right around the corner. It was such a convenient location to run out for ice, wine or shop in town. The views from all over the cabin were extraordinary, but the upstairs was breathtaking!! Our first night we stayed in, played several games of pool, sat on the covered porch until dark, then out by the fire pit. Before bed we enjoyed the hot tub as well. We even invited friends to come along later in the week for sightseeing. The boys went fly fishing and the girls took a trip up to Biltmore Estate just a few hours away. What a fun day trip! Debbie was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend coming to stay at Brigadoon II. Hopefully we can make it back when the leaves are at their peak color. That would top it off. We hope to be going back again very soon!!! Love, LoVe, LOVE Brigadoon II. Thanks, Debbie!

Owner's Response: I appreciate you taking the time to write a great review, Lori, thank you. We would love to have you visit again anytime. Brigadoon II does have a beautiful and convenient location with a view that even the locals are impressed with. Having the outside grass area with the fire pit and horseshoes game has proven very popular with our guests. There is so much to do in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area but if you just want to relax then Brigadoon II has everything you will need, apart from food, for a memorable vacation.

Wonderful Christmas getaway

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at Brigadoon II for the week of Christmas. In short, it was amazing. This peaceful cabin had an unadulterated view of Mount Leconte from every window. The kitchen was well-equipped and fully-stocked so we were able to eat in and just relax. The two bedrooms each had comfortable king-sized beds and large flat-screen tv's. It was just my husband and I and our 13-year old son on this trip, so we gave him the downstairs room while we took the upstairs. It felt like we each had our own suites! I loved having my coffee each morning on the upstairs deck overlooking the mountains watching the sun come up. The hot tub was a treat on the cold nights, as was the fire pit out front to roast marshmallows. Debbie had the cabin beautifully decorated for Christmas and we felt so comfortable. She provided great directions into town, giving us a shortcut around Pigeon Forge. She also had everything in the cabin labelled with directions, from the tv remotes to where utensils were in the kitchen. The only thing this cabin was missing was snow!

Owner's Response: Thank you Beth for your lovely review. Sunrise and coffee on the upper deck is one of my favorite things to do also. I have been shopping in the after Christmas sales and adding to Brigadoon II's Christmas decorations. Next year will look even more festive (I love Christmas time!)

This is the place!

Brigadoon II is conveniently located off Glades Rd (about 3 miles from traffic light #3 in Gatlinburg).
Once off Glades Rd, it takes about 3 minutes to reach the driveway of the cabin.
The cabin has an immaculate view of LeConte. You can enjoy this view from the loft, balcony, hot tub, porch and dining area.
There are 3 cabins near Brigadoon II – but no invasion of privacy. Each cabin is far enough away to maintain that since of peacefulness
The cabin is extremely clean (can say that about other cabins we have stayed at in Gatlinburg).
Both bedrooms have king size beds, flat screen TVs (with cable/DVD players). The upstairs bedroom has its own private bath.
There is a pool table in the loft/game room along with another TV
Downstairs has a fireplace and ample seating for a family gathering.
The kitchen is well stocked – all you need to do is bring food
Outside is a fire pit with outdoor seating for those wanting to wind down from a busy day.
We have been coming to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge with our kids since 2009. This was by far our best experience with a cabin. Debbie is amazing with her customer service.
The Rainford’s take a lot of pride in this cabin and you will see it first hand when you stay.

Owner's Response: Wow, what a great, informative review. Thank you Bruce and family for taking the time to submit this. We do, indeed, take a great deal of pride in our cabin. We want all of our guests to have an amazing experience, one that is better than any other cabin rental they have had. I love interacting with guests and doing whatever I can to make their trip extra special.

Perfect Gatlinburg cabin rental!

  • 5 of 5
We loved this cabin! It was in the perfect location for us....close to the National Park, close to downtown, in the Arts and Crafts community, far enough away from the hustle and bustle to truly feel like you are on vacation in the mountains, close to a grocery store, etc, etc!!! The views from both porches are amazing and the owners could not have been nicer. Debbie went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we had a great stay. The cabin itself was well stocked and clean. I would highly recommend this cabin and I'm sure we will book it again one day in the future. :)

Owner's Response: Thank you for your lovely review, Danielle. I want all of our guests to have a memorable stay at Brigadoon II and I enjoy doing the little extras that make it so. TV shows always say 'location location' and this is so true. The cabin has one of the best locations and views in the area. It is only a short drive to all the fun activities but you really do feel that you are away from it all. We would love for you and your family to come and visit again.

Magical Cabin Indeed!

  • 5 of 5
We had our dream wedding in this cabin. Brigadoon II is everything we expected and more. The cabin was immaculate, well stocked and the perfect venue for an intimate wedding. The views were mesmerizing. Our tween daughters loved the pool table and games. Our friends and family members raved about the beauty of this cabin and its location. It was conveniently located to the attractions in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge yet secluded enough to make us feel like we were in our own "magical and mystical" land.

The owners went above and beyond in helping to make this a special weekend for us. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. This is truly a luxury property. We will definitely be back!

Owner's Response: Firstly, congratulations to Marta and Darin on their wedding. We were delighted that they chose our cabin, Brigadoon II for the venue of their very special day.
We want all of our guests to have a wonderful time and we always want to go 'above and beyond' to make it a vacation to remember. We are not a rental company, just a family who is fortunate to be able to share our love of the Smokies with others. We do truly feel it is a 'magical' place like no other.

From the Owner

We have a lot of experience as vacation tenants of many other cabins and as such have provided what we consider to be the best of all worlds into our own cabin to ensure a memorable experience for our visitors. We feel a combination of rustic charm, combined with all the modern amenities such as HDTV's, WiFi and Internet, Pool Table, Spa, Gas and a charcoal grill and well equipped kitchen. The area Brigadoon II is situated in is quiet and peaceful, but very accessible to local shops (food city is 5 minutes away) and attractions. The location of our cabin was also critical. It is only 5 minutes from Gatlinburg light #3 and sits on it's own private grassed lot with spectacular views of the Smokey Mountains. The cabin is located at the end of a quiet paved road that is easily accessible. The sunrises and sunsets over the mountains should not be missed from the beautiful solid log rocking chairs. Access to local shops are a short drive away and of course the National Park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge or all within easy reach.
