Newly Renovated Hampton's contemporary available for a week long getaway or monthly rental. This updated 3600 +sq. foot, 2 story home features open plan living on a wooded acre with large deck for entertaining. 10 minutes from the beach and town.
An enormous open living area has over 18 windows and a dramatic wood burning fireplace with expansive views of the deck and pool surrounded by woods. The large open kitchen is a chef's delight with tons of counter space and an 8 foot ceaserstone island. It is fully equipped with a double door KitchenAid refrigerator, gagneau cooktop and brand new Krups coffee maker, toaster, panini press, blender and more. All cookware and flatware is brand new. The reclaimed wood dining table seats 8 and sits under 8 picture windows. Enjoy the 50'LCD smart tv with netflix and pandora from the low modern sectional sofa under the 50' dome skylight.
The enormous master wing is double height with 2 sets of sliding doors to the deck and a built in king size bed under custom circular windows . the en suite bathroom has a large slate shower stall, freestanding tub and double sinks set in wood slab as well as heated floors and towel racks.
The guest wing entails 2 large bedrooms ( 1 queen bed, 1 full bed) connected by a Jack and Jill bathroom. Each room has its own dedicated toilet and sink while sharing a shower and tub.
Upstairs has a child's room ( twin bed) plus full bathroom, kids play loft and bonus room.
Outside you have a 1200 sq foot wooden deck with 18x36 heated pool (May -Sept only). There is a outdoor dining that seats 8, plus 4 chaise lounges, hammock and brand new Weber grill. The southern exposure is the perfect mix of sun and seclusion throughout the day.
Just 2 hours from NYC, E. Quogue is a wooded oasis with local farms and Wildlife. Local beaches are within 10 minutes,nearby Riverhead offers world class Golf, Tanger Outlet Mall, The Aquarium, big box retail as well as local restaurants and shopping. The towns of Wetshampton, Hampton Bays and Southampton are all within a 15 minute car ride.

We are a family of three, living in Brooklyn, that fell in love with this house at first sight. We have restored and modernized it for the 21st Century. We are looking for families and adult groups that will take good care of the space and respect our neighbors.

Our family, my husband and I, and our two children aged 3 and 5, had the pleasure of spending two weeks at this home at the end of August 2014. We came from New York and treated it as our home base to take a break from the city. The girls and I pretty much stayed put and enjoyed the salt-water pool and local markets. There are incredible places to get quality meat and fresh seafood very nearby. My husband did travel back and forth for work, but the place is very conveniently located both for the train and the jitney service and he was even able to get Uber to pick him up:) The house itself is beautifully decorated by the owners. The modern aesthetics of the house appealed to us greatly. The decor is uncluttered and not in your face, while still preserving a distinct personal touch, not just a rental. The bedrooms, the living room, the bathrooms were great. The open plan downstairs allows for everyone to enjoy communal living, and the bedrooms are private and separate. There is a Master, and two other bedrooms downstairs that we dubbed the "Kids" wing and two more bedrooms upstairs that were ideal for guests. The plumbing, the kitchen, the AC worked perfectly. There is a smart TV and high speed Internet... everything you may need for work or play. Mike is a very gracious host. Supremely friendly, yet appropriately restrained. I have enjoyed having "renovation" conversations with him, as at the time we were undergoing a renovation of our own in the city. He told us about some of the unique features of the house and shared his stories. When we arrived he helped us settle in and took us to the nearby Taco stand to just show us the lay of the land. He armed us with information about the local food and farmers' markets gems, regular supermarkets and maps to the beaches and was on his way. We have touched base during our two weeks stay to check in that everything was going smoothly. Overall a very pleasant experience.

“The homes original owner was a well known high end window maker and architect. He spared no expense when he originally outfitted this home from the 8 foot solid mahogany front doors to the hand carved spiral staircase and custom circular bed frame. The layout of the house is perfect for providing plenty of open space for social gatherings while having remote bedrooms offering privacy. Additionally, the upstairs wing has a loft play area for kids allowing adults and children separation while still being under 1 roof. The wooded lot offers complete privacy to enjoy the 18X36 pool and expansive deck that surrounds it. The exposure of the pool is perfectly placed to remaining sunny all day, while the many umbrellas provide shade for resting and eating”
