Nestled among hemlock trees and blooming rhododendron, Grand Timber Lodge is the quintessential Smoky Mountain cabin. The home is conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and it comes with everything you need to feel truly pampered, including five master bedrooms, a home theater, a game room, and an outdoor hot tub.
Take a deep breath as you step inside and let the serenity sink into your soul. You’ll be greeted by a spacious game room, complete with an old-fashioned pinball machine, a pool table, an air hockey table, and a vintage console with Mrs. PAC-MAN and other arcade favorites. This room is always a hit with kids. Just keep them supplied with snacks and drinks, and they’re sure to entertain themselves for hours!
On either side of the game room are two plush master suites, each with a king-size bed, a flat screen TV, and a tub/shower combo. Whatever the season, the true log furniture, which you’ll find throughout the house, gives these rooms a cozy, rustic feel. Curl up in bed while the snow falls silently outside, or open your window in summer to welcome the fresh mountain air.
After exploring the game room, head upstairs to the main floor of the house, which includes a bright and airy living room (two-sided fireplace and Blu-ray player included), a modern and fully-equipped kitchen, and a dining area with seating for ten. The indulgent master suite on this floor features a king-size bed and a jetted soaker tub. It’s a true haven from the hustle and bustle that often comes with a family vacation. Every one else can unwind in the hot tub on the balcony—the jetted soaker tub is all yours!
As night falls, settle into the third-floor theater room to watch a Blu-ray together on the eight-foot screen with surround sound. Sports lovers will appreciate that this is one of the few cabins with cable. The third floor has two additional master suites, each with a queen-size bed. There is also a queen-size sleeper sofa if needed.
While it’s likely you’ll never want to leave Grand Timber Lodge, the area’s top attractions are nearby. Dollywood is approximately fifteen minutes away from the cabin, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park has plenty of hiking trails and scenic picnic spots. If you prefer to stay close to home, it’s a short stroll to the pools and tennis courts at Chalet Village.
Another perk—Grand Timber Lodge is managed by Elk Springs Resort, a local company known for its high-end cabin rentals and exceptional guest services. We’re available 24/7 if you have any questions or concerns, and we cater to groups like yours.
