This is where the odds of seeing a honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle) or the endangered Hawaiian monk seal on the sand (though be sure to maintain a distance of at least 150 feet from the protected animals) are in your favor.

Great Family Vacation Spot - impeccable property
The location of the unit is central for exploring the island. There are a few things walking distance to the unit but most things are in towns like Keihe (10 min), Kahului (15 min) or Lahaina (25 min). Also well positioned for visiting the beaches (east or west), Haleakalā or driving to Hana.
Lisa was professional, attentive and easy to deal with. She provided a generous gift basket with coffee, fruit, candy, etc on our arrival. We saw several whales from our patio (season is Dec-Apr) and turtles in the water just of the nearby beach.
All in all, we had a fantastic stay in Maui and this unit exceeded all of our needs.

“View! Sound! Beach! Weather! We can walk to all kinds of pleasures. It's a place to retreat, renew and play for all ages. It's a place to read, write, work remotely, swim, walk, cook, and relax. Solar panels cover the roof and are generating renewable energy due to vision, research, community support and action. The concrete building is carefully maintained along with adjacent landscaping. The pool area is spaciously designed with a heated pool, cabana, covered seating and barbeques for everyone's benefit. Owners and neighbors are respectful of privacy, yet friendly. No street noise. No need to get on an elevator. Short drives to more restaurants that we enjoy in every direction. Access to the long beach through Haycraft Park at the end of road is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. The Harbor town is charming. Public transportation is available at the harbor. The parking lot is convenient.”

“Incredible sunrises. It's perfectly warm - year round. If rain is falling or wind is blowing - not on the lanai. The arc of this building and covered lanai ensures calm outdoor dining.The unit fans to the ocean. The views and sounds of the ocean are amazing. This is a relatively private unit. The koi in the pond are directly out the door and are a joy coming and going. The morning birds chirp 'New Day.'”
