This property is ideally located for visitors wanting easy access to the various amenities offered at the large Fairmont Hotel (shops, spa, entertainment, restaurants, diving, jet skiing), along with close proximity to Horseshoe Bay Beach and several nearby golf courses. It is a handsome home in beautifully manicured gardens, with a separate, private, single story wing containing 2 fully self contained units. Price quoted is per unit, double occupancy with no further taxes added. Access to the 2 apartments is through locked front doors that open into a lobby-livingroom area. The Hibiscus suite can be outfitted with a sturdy, comfortable single bed to accommodate an additional guest, at a minimal cost of $25 per night.Wireless Internet access is set up in the lobby-livingroom, with a computer for guests to use, and a large screen television, in addition to TVs in each apartment. Upon entering the property you can see Jews Bay and Riddells Bay.
The Pineapple Suite has a bedroom with a Queen size bed, armoire, chair, night tables, alarm clock, standing mirror, phone, iron, ironing board and a large clothes closet. A flat screen television is in the armoire and there is wifi available. The bathroom has a basin, toilet and shower stall. Each unit also has its own kitchenette: a table and two chairs, stove top, fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, utensils, cutlery, crockery, cookware etc.
From the bedroom you can enter onto a very large, open porch which has welcoming steps leading into the pretty gardens, with views up to the Fairmont Southampton Hotel. The gardens and lawns are quite spacious by Bermuda standard at approx ½ acre, with several mature fruit trees (oranges, bananas, limes, grapefruits, mangoes) and flowers (Bermuda Garden Roses (many), bougainvillea, snow on the mountain, yellow bell, hibiscus, etc).
The Hibiscus Suite bedroom contains two Twin beds which can also come together as a King sized bed, two night tables, wall mounted flat screen television, wifi, alarm clock, armoire, chair, long mirror, iron, ironing board, phone and a large clothes closet. The kitchenette for this unit has the same appliances as noted above for the Pineapple unit. This unit can be entered either privately from an external patio or from the common lounge. From the Hibiscus Unit you can step onto a large open porch overlooking a flower garden, with glimpses of Riddells Bay.
Both units are fully air-conditioned/heated. Each unit has private telephone service (long distance calls will require a calling card). Crib/cot available: $25.00 per night for infants. There is an additional $10 per suite/night if paying by credit card.
There is an iron and ironing board in the clothes closet of each unit. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom.
In the kitchenette of each unit is a coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, stove top (2), fridge. Extra freezer space can be accommodated. There is a Barbecue available for use. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly and linen changed every 3 days. Additional towels are left in the room.
When guests arrive, the lovely homeowner will be at the Inn to meet them.
The Inn is located a few steps away from the fabled Waterlot Inn Restaurant and Dock. Guests also have very easy walking access to The Fairmont Southampton Princess Hotel, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, the extensive MarketPlace Grocery store & liquor section, along with a variety of restaurants in the area including Henry VIII, Island Cuisine, Mr. Chicken, The Wok, and The Dining Room. There are also several restaurants within the Fairmont Hotel and The Reefs Hotel.

The inexpensive, timely and clean public buses run right outside the entrance, with 4 bus stops taking you directly to the western end of the island ( The Royal Naval Dockyard) or to the city of Hamilton. Bus tokens may be purchased on site.
For those who love walking there is also the nearby “railway walking trail”, where you can walk for miles admiring the beautiful island scenery without the intrusion of motor vehicles.
Horseshoe Bay Beach, the 8th most beautiful beach in the world, and the surrounding sand dunes and coves can be accessed by foot (approx 15 mins) or by taking the free Fairmont Hotel shuttle bus (10 mins) . Other options are by taxi or rented scooter.
South Shore Beaches nearby include Horseshoe Bay, Church Bay (snorkeling), Warwick Long Bay, etc. with jet ski rentals at The Waterlot.
Horseback riding, bowling, plant nursery, Railway Trail, churches, Golf Courses including Southampton Princess, Riddells Bay, Port Royal, Belmont Hills.
Private taxi service to and from the airport is also available: the driver is available for guided tours as well, at the metered taxi rate.
Wade's Garden Inn in Scenic Southampton is within walking distance to the famous Horseshoe Bay and South Shore Beaches, Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, several fabulous golf courses, the Fairmont Southampton Hotel, Water lot Restaurant & Henry VIII pub with their amenities and nightly entertainment, the walking railway trail, the large Market Place Supermarket, and the public bus route. You can also go snorkeling at Church Bay beach.
The Inn is surrounded by mature gardens with views of Riddell's Bay and Jews Bay. There are 2 suites with each suite having its own bedroom, bathroom, fully stocked kitchenette and patio. The Inn can accommodate from 2 to 5 guests. There is also a common lounge, free internet access and a barbeque for guests to enjoy. Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
When a booking is made a 2 night per suite deposit is required to make the booking firm. This can be paid by credit card, or a bank money order can be mailed to Wade's Garden Inn for the cash rate of the deposit. Upon receipt of the deposit, a confirmation statement is e-mailed to the guest. The balance is due on arrival. The price quoted is per unit, double occupancy with no further taxes added.
The rates per night are as follows.... 2 guests /$135; 3 guests, same unit / $160; 4 guests, 2 units / $270; 5 guests, 2 units / $295 per night, cash rate. Credit card payments add $10/night/unit. There are 2 units ( the Hibiscus suite and the Pineapple suite) which can be rented individually or together.
For cancellations...21 days notice is required for a refund of the deposit.
