Santa Barbara charm

This unit ( the ground floor front) was perfect for us. ( parents with a teenaged daughter) It is full of Santa barbara charm with very indicative of santa barbara vegetation. It was fun to sit and relax on the front porch in comfy chairs, on the amazing rooftop garden or inside our charming unit! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with pots, utensils , plates, cups, you name it! The kitchen is huge and has a great passthru counter to help connect it with the living room. Every room is light and bright with surprising homey touches. Interesting art, comfortable bed and a pull out couch that almost rivaled the bed for comfort. Yes, it was a pull out couch and super comfy! The bathroom with its double sinks and lots of cupboards was wonderful. The bedroom even had a walkin closet and a dressing area with drawers and another closet. The location was great. Perfect blend of close and quiet! So close to the beach and sterns wharf and so close to State street. It was like we were home and we didn't want to leave!

Our Santa Barbara Spring Break Vacation

My 6 year old daughter and myself had a wonderful stay in Unit #1. We were a short distance from the beach, the pier and wharf. We ate breakfast on the roof deck where the amazing tower gardens are, all kinds of vegetables growing out of tube towers. The building has three units, a lot of character and charm, the front porch to relax, the living room with the fireplace, the big kitchen to cook your delicious meals in, the big deep bath tub that my daughter loved, and the big bed. To go towards town it is an easy walk over the train tracks, we watched the train come in a few times, and continue up State Street. We walked down the pier and had a delicious seafood dinner, set up our tent on the mostly deserted beach, and played a lot.

Had a wonderful stay...the owner was helpful and available. The apt. Unit #1 was
clean, and we loved our stay. Being close to the beach was wonderful - morning walks
were delightful. The apt. is close to the trolley stop - just a block away. I would just
change one thing...the shower curtains!

Business Travel - Great Stay!

This review is not as a vacation rental, but I'm sure it would still deserve the 5 stars.

My company is based in Santa Barbara so I travel to the area often. Normally when traveling for work I stay in a hotel on state street; however, this last stay was 2 weeks long. I figured finding an apartment at the same cost as a hotel (and cheaper then some too) rather than being forced to live out of my suitcase for 14 days in a small hotel room would be nice. It was a great decision!

Sandy was very accommodating and a great host. In addition to having a clean place to stay, where I can cook my own food & DVR my normal weekday TV shows, having access to the roof top during the weekend to lay out and relax was a fantastic bonus. It was an easy drive to the grocery store, and I spent most mornings enjoying the fact that I was still on East Coast Time by going for a run on the beach.

I have already recommended this location as a place for many of my coworkers to take advantage of when visiting the Santa Barbara office. I only hope next time I visit I am lucky enough to rent it first!

Great Location in Santa Barbara

We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It had the BEST location. Easy walk to coffee, dinner, the beach, the wharf, etc. It was quiet. The kitchen is superb--stocked with any item you need to cook etc. The space is huge and light-filled. The bed was great. So much better than staying in a hotel!
