4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Cabin On Culdesac With Gorgeous Mountain And Meadow Views

Welcome to our 'Cozy Cabin'

We fell in love with this house the minute we saw it, and we know you will too! This place truly defines the 'Tahoe Experience'. Located in the quiet, lovely Black Bart neighborhood, on a spacious, wooded lot, with a gorgeous meadow and stream across the way, you truly feel like you are away from it all. However, hop right on Pioneer Trail and you will be at Heavenly Ski Resort, the casinos, or the beach in just 5-10 minutes. Bijou Park with a skate park, playground, and fields are also within walking distance or a short bike ride away.

The charming house is located at the end of a culdesac, with no neighbors on either side. It is tucked away from the street, so it feels like you are secluded. Have kids? So do we. They will love running around and exploring the wooded lot, with NO traffic going by. We know our kids do!

Our cabin is newly renovated, top to bottom, with gorgeous wood floors, pine doors and trim, open, beautiful vaulted wood ceiling, granite counter-tops, and travertine tile.

Fast WiFi (N600 router) that has a strong signal throughout the house and will handle multiple devices with ease.

Keyless entry (4 digit code) makes it very convenient to come and go without having to carry a key. Especially convenient for larger groups since there is no need to share keys.

Downstairs, you will walk into a large open foyer, with the two bedrooms, a laundry room with brand new full size washer/dryer, and a mud room to keep all those jackets and snow boots out of the way.

The master bedroom, on the first floor, has it's own bathroom with a newly tiled shower, tub and granite topped vanity. It also has a cozy, romantic fireplace, ceiling fan, two closets, flatscreen TV, and French doors leading out onto the porch. You will love the queen size bed, with a brand new luxury plush mattress, soft pillows, and Pottery Barn bedding.

Also downstairs, the 'bunk room' has two sets of bunk beds, a flatscreen TV, Playstation 3 (with games), and lots of games for the kids to enjoy. It's a great place for the kids to hang out and have fun.

Both downstairs bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The home does not have air conditioning (as most Tahoe homes do not), however even in the summer the the nights are very cool and letting in the mountain air will be enough to cool you off.

Upstairs, you will be wowed by a large, open great room with brand new leather couches and a cozy floor to ceiling brick fireplace . A brand new 55' LG smart LCD TV (with internet access, Netflix, Hulu, etc), Blu-Ray DVD player, and a soundbar for rich theater sound. Want to listen to music? Just connect your mobile device (smartphone, iPOD, etc) to the soundbar for great sound.

The dining room table seats 8 and you will love enjoying the gorgeous view of Mt. Tallac right out the large picture window.

Adjacent to the open great room is the kitchen, with granite counter-tops, brand new appliances and a breakfast nook with seating for 4. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, blender, just about anything you need! We also have coffee filters, coffee creamer, olive oil, aluminium foil, plastic wrap, and spices on hand to help save money on your grocery bill.

Just off the great room is a huge deck with a beautiful view of the meadow out front. The deck has a patio table for outdoor dining, chaise lounges, brand new BBQ, and a steaming hot tub ready to go.

Upstairs there are also two more bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and one more bathroom. We splurged on super comfortable Sealy pillow top mattresses, soft pillows, and Pottery Barn bedding....so you are sure to have a good night's sleep every night.

We also just installed a brand new tankless water heater that never runs out of hot water....so your group can enjoy unlimited hot showers without ever worrying about running out of hot water.

There is also beach gear (beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler) that is available for guest use in the summer months.

Booking: Your reservation will be confirmed when the first payment and signed rental agreement have been received. Minimum age for renters/groups of adults is 25.

About the Owner

We recently bought our Tahoe dream home and are looking forward to making memories here with friends and family, and sharing our 'home away from home' with other families. We live in San Diego, and have two kids, ages 12 and 9. We grew up vacationing in Tahoe with our families, and it is a very special place to us.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5
Very clean and inviting. There were plenty of linens. We had a toddler and infant, so the enclosed yard was great. Being at the end of a culdesac quaranteed a quiet stay. The neighborhood is very nice - we enjoyed our morning walks to the nearby creek. Close to stores and a short ride to the beaches. Would definitely plan another summer stay there.

Cute, cozy cabin! Beautiful deck and hot tub!

  • 4 of 5
We had a great time at the Black Bart cabin! The owners were wonderfully responsive to all inquiries. The cabin is cute and quaint and has plenty of sleeping area. It was nice to lounge on the beautiful deck and my party really enjoyed the hot tub. The only thing that I would have liked to see is a couple extra packets of dish washing powder for the dishwasher. We had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts there and we ran of out cleansing packets for the dishwasher (there were 3 included). Thank you for a great stay!!

Fantastic 4th of July Weekend

  • 5 of 5
We stayed over 4th of July weekend for an impromptu family reunion with 10 people, and had a fantastic time. The property was clean and comfortable, with everything just as described. The location is perfect; tucked back far enough in the woods for some privacy, but only a few minutes to Heavenly and everything else in the area. We had a great time lounging around on the deck in the afternoons, which definitely helped to make the house feel more roomy. Everything at the house worked without any trouble, and it really helped to make for a comfortable, enjoyable time. We would definitely stay again when in Tahoe.

This place is AWESOME!!!

  • 5 of 5
Every bit as nice as it looks in the pictures. We have been coming to South Tahoe for 30+ years and this was the nicest cabin we’ve stayed at, hands down! Great amenities, great location, very clean and cozy - plenty to do just hanging around the cabin. All the kids had a blast sleeping in the bunk beds and playing outside. The Pack-n-Play was also a lifesaver with our 6-month old. Unlikely to find a better value out there and we will definitely be back. Thank you Jamie and Corey!

Location

From the Owner

We love this house because it feels like you are out in the woods, yet it is close to everything. Kids can run and play, and you don't have to worry about neighbors or cars going by. The meadow and mountain views are simply breathtaking. We absolutely love Tahoe and everything it has to offer, both winter and summer. We especially enjoy hiking, horseback riding, boating, jet skiing, all the beautiful beaches, lake activities, and of course just riding bikes around the neighborhood.
