Available for rent is this contemporary modern 2 bdrm apartment home with 2 sleeping lofts, four queen beds total. The apartment has air conditioning and it comes with its own private parking space. We are conveniently located in Ballard, the best and most fun neighborhood of Seattle. You may be unaware but Seattle's downtown is not as fun as Portland's or Vancouver B,C. this is why you will enjoy better your vacation when staying in the surrounding neighborhoods.
We are near the corner of 24th Ave NW and NW 64th St with public transportation at this corner. There are two bus routes that stop there and will take you to downtown Seattle and the important sites in the area in about 20 minutes. You can transfer in downtown Seattle to the light rail system and ride it all the way to Sea-Tac Airport.
Ballard is a friendly neighborhood that is very easy to get around on foot. Going south on 24th Avenue you will find the quaint Ballard downtown in less than a mile with its many cafes, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops.
On your way there, you could stop at Cafe Besalu, my favorite french bakery in town and just five blocks from your vacation rental. About a block further is Quality Food Centers (QFC) a very nice grocery store with Starbucks and a fresh sushi bar as well as deli inside (this place has free underground parking). There is also Scooter's Burgers, a Fitness 19 gym and several other coffee shops.
Around NW market and Ballard Ave you will find tons of restaurants with many different international cuisines. La Carta de Oxaca, Matador, and Plaka are some of my favorites. Many call Ballard a foodie’s paradise for the varied cuisine an amazing restaurants in the area.
We include in our rental standard amenities like the ones offered in hotels like iron and ironing board, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, coffee maker, toaster, toilet paper, clean linens and towels.
The kitchen has a gas stove and oven, full fridge, dishwasher, cooking utensils, pots and pans, dinnerware set for 8 person. We have a Keurig coffee maker with some coffee pods, a French press and an Italian coffee maker. There is an electric teakettle and toaster as well.
The round table in the pictures is expandable to eight persons allowing your entire group to come together for dinner. Extra folding chairs are stored away in the closet near the entrance.
There is 40' flat HDTV in the living room connected to an HD antenna channel. Netflix access is included via a Roku player attached to the TV.

- Well-lit entrance with sensor lights for late arrivals.

We chose to live in Ballard because we believe it is the best neighborhood of Seattle (voted by locals in Seattle's Magazine as the best). There are lots of outdoor activities to do as well as shops and great restaurants to visit and reach all by foot from our home.”
