Enjoy your Hawaiian vacation at this almost oceanfront complex. This fully equipped over 1200 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with oversized lanai is located in Holualoa Bay Villas. Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom have a queen size bed and a queen size sofa sleeper is located in the family/living room to comfortably accommodate 6 guests. The unit has a great oceanview from both the living room, master bedroom as well as the spacious lanai.

This private, 14 unit complex overlooking beautiful Holualoa Bay enjoys a pool, hot tub, tennis courts, a recreation room, small exercise room and a BBQ pavilion and is right across the street from the ocean. For your convenience, there is an elevator and under the building assigned covered parking. Enjoy a cup of famous Kona Coffee and soak up the views while watching the dolphins and whales (when in season) all the while listening to the sounds of the ocean.

Open the doors and windows and let the mountain and ocean breezes blow through for natural cooling.

Right on Ali’i Drive a great place to walk and explore. There is a small beach across the street where sea turtles enjoy sunning.

Near town yet far enough away to give the true flavor of Hawaii. Conveniently located 2.9 mile south of downtown Kailua Kona, and 10 miles south of Honokohau Boat Harbor.

Nearby, you will find Hawaii's best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching and other ocean activities. Minutes to a wide assortment of restaurants and shopping, and a great home base to explore the many wonders of the island including Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!

Down the street are snorkel and surf beaches. Close to several golf courses. Very close to town and activities, seconds from the shoreline, just a short walk to watch turtles, surfers and beautiful sunsets.

Hawaiian night mare

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very unhappy with the location.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
The property manager was very unhelpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:
The day before my arrival the rental agency was in the unit and knew it was flooded. The ceiling was soaked and the floors were covered with water. They made no effort to contact me and give me a chance to change my departure and find another rental. When I arrived an hour before I could get into the unit, I was informed it could not be occupied. I was in Hawaii had spent $10,000.00 to get there and had no place to stay. The rental agency did not help me find a place, I was on my own, and had to move three times when I did find something later at a huge expense to me.
When I returned to the mainland 30 days later I called for my refund. and Cristina 75769 told me I would not get my money back until
the insurance claim was settled. I am aware that the refund should have been within 14 days. I called them the next day and talked to Amanda 75516 and tried to explain to her and she hung up on me. Monday the 2nd of February I called again, and got finance person who was quite sensible and said there was no one to sign the check until Thursday, I said that was not an option, I wanted my money sent out Feb. 2nd and later I got an e mail saying it had been sent. Over 35 days since I could not use the unit. Horrible treatment by the rental agency and definitely violation of real estate ethics. Amanda and Mike were in the unit before I arrived and knew the flood damage. Members of my family can verify this as they were staying elsewhere on the Island and knew of the problem.

Owner's Response: We feel extremely terrible for the inconvenience and undue stress placed upon our client. Through multiple phone calls and hours of work we felt that we tried all possible options to work towards a solution. We kept her abreast of the situation and asked for patience as we worked through the process. We completely understood her frustration but had to wait for 4 insurance companies to get involved. The unit incurred substantial water damage the day before guest arrival through an issue caused by a unit above ours, which is management by a different company. We waited for a professional evaluation of the unit by Servpro. We were informed the day of guest arrival that the unit was not livable during mitigation and repairs. We immediately informed the guest and started the insurance claim on her behalf. Our accounting department forwarded all guest details that we had available. Guest was informed that she was required to follow up with additional personal information, which she agreed to do. CSA insurance concierge was to assist in the relocation process though we forwarded numerous alternative accommodation options to her directly.
At that point we had to wait for the travel insurance claim agent to rule on the case instead of issuing a refund through our company. It was not until guest arrived home that she received the unfortunate news that her insurance claim was rejected. At that point she informed our office. Upon further contact with the insurance company they informed us that they were not going to pay for the claim because water damage other than through natural causes is not covered under the insurance policy. At that point we immediately processed a refund in full to the client.

A perfect Kailua-Kona stay!

My husband and I recently stayed at this property for 5 nights and we found it absolutely terrific. Firstly, the location was perfect--not too far from the airport but far enough, about 4.5 miles to historic Kailua town, across the street from the ocean and some great snorkeling, beginner surf spots, and the famous Da Poke Shack is literally steps away. Secondly, the property itself was very spacious, immaculate and well equipped to meet all of our needs. Plus, there was a nice pool, hot tub, tennis courts and parking. What more could you ask for!!!
