The living area has seating for 4, dining for 4, a large flat-panel TV set with cable and Roku, and a gorgeous view of the Seattle skyline across Lake Union from the living/dining/kitchen areas and the balcony. The living room has an uncommonly comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa with a thick foam mattress.

The bedroom features a queen-sized bed, and the living room has a queen sofa bed with a Sealy Posturpedic mattress. All mattresses are high quality and very comfortable.

You can also rent both the upstairs and the downstairs to book the entire house with comfortable sleeping for up to 10 adults, 2 kitchens, 3 baths, 3 bedrooms, and 2 queen sized pull-out sofas! Both top and bottom are also child friendly.

If you are not already familiar with Wallingford, you are in for a treat. The house is located within 6 blocks of some of the best restaurants, coffee shops, storefronts, parks, and sights that Seattle has to offer. Walk to Lake Union, Gasworks Park, the Burke-Gilman Trail, Fremont, the University of Washington and more.

We are a 2-minute drive to 99 (Aurora), 5 minutes to I-5, and 5-10 minutes to the 520 bridge. This provides the perfect commute to locations throughout Seattle and the East side. Street parking is available, and a dedicated driveway is available upon request.

About the Owner

I have lived in Seattle for 14 years. I live downstairs, work from home, and am happy to answer any questions you may have or suggest fun activities in Seattle and the Puget Sound.

My family and I enjoy our free time exploring the city, attending cultural events, making and appreciating art, and roaming the Puget Sound region in our Westfalia and our sailboat.

Great location & place to stay

Great location & place to stay

What a great place to stay while visiting Seattle! Samantha is very helpful and easy to work with. The place had everything we needed. We brought bikes and easily got around. Much better than staying at a hotel!

A quiet stay in Wallingford area.

  • 5 of 5
We had another great stay at the Wallingford Terrace, a one bedroom, second story apartment, in a quiet neighborhood, the Wallingford area of Seattle. The location is perfect for quickly getting to either the 5 or the 99. This is also a great place to take walks to the shopping area (about 7 blocks) or south to the Gas Works park with walking trails along the water. An additional 15-20 minute walk gets you to U Dub (University of Washington). A major surprise is the excellent choice of restaurants in the area. The apartment has a complete kitchen, a spacious living room, dining room, and a fantastic view of Seattle from the balcony. In short, this is a great place to stay for a relaxing visit to a big city.

Highly Recommend!

This was a great place to stay. Loved sitting on the balcony and gazing at downtown Seattle, loved being able to walk to Freemont and Gas Works Park, and was able to take the bus to the light rail to get myself back to the airport. The apartment had everything we needed... even cooked dinner in one night. My daughter lives in Wallingford, so I am sure that we will be back!

the most cozy place!

The perfect stay for our girls weekend! The location is so close to everything so it made zipping around and sightseeing a breeze. There is wifi, hulu, netflix, all the cooking and baking necessities, full bathroom and toiletry accommodations and it's off main streets in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the city lights at night. Pictures are very accurate and Samantha did an excellent job communicating and setting the place up. it's a must :)

I have stayed in this apartment 2 times now. Both times have been great. The
space is laid out with a lot of thought. There is lots of light. The view of the Seattle
skyline is incredible. It is close to public transit. I would highly recommend this

This apartment is wonderful. Great location, clean, and sunny. We really appreciated the full sized kitchen and made some great family meals there. Easy walk to Wallingford shops, Irwin's, Essential Bakery and Gaswork Park. The owner was very accommodating. We will definitely be back.

From the Owner

I knew this was a great property when I first saw it from the street, and I saw it as home instantly when I walked inside. We feel fortunate to have a private and lovely apartment upstairs for visiting family and friends, and we are honored to share it with you so that more families make happy memories here.

The kitchen, dining and living areas open up to a balcony with French doors and a gorgeous view of downtown from across Lake Union. Also, we have outfitted this rental with all the comforts of home. We have made Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and have outfitted it accordingly.
