can walk or bike to the main beach Pier, 4 blocks away, where all the

action is. Or stroll 3 blocks to the back river fishing pier and relax

with gorgeous sunset views. Walk to wonderful restaurants or ride a bike. There's really no reason to use your car on this trip.

The small well-equipped island grocery store is even just blocks

away. This residential block of Miller Ave is so peaceful, tropical

and centrally located you will want to return. We have many repeat


You will agree you found the best value for your vacation when you

stay in this "home away from home". We've tried to think of

everything you will need and have stocked the house for our guests.

We've responded to every suggestion in our guest book and invite you to

tell us about your trip. Our guests to date have been delighted with

their stay in our home and we want to keep you coming back.

Activity and Interests

Comcast Wireless Internet is now provided!

Tybee is bike friendly so ride bikes all over the island, including on the beach. Tour Fort

Pulaski, the Tybee Lighthouse and Museum, Tybee Marine Science Center

or Fort Screven Museum. Hang out on North Beach and watch huge ships

entering the channel for Savannah. Rent kayaks and tour the back

river and marshes, even uninhabited Little Tybee Island just across

the river. Frequently on weekends there are live bands performing at

the main Pier and Pavillion. Artists abound on Tybee with festivals

and neat beach shops. Or you can drive 15 minutes over scenic

intercoastal waterways to Downtown Savannah where Activities are

endless in this historic city....including antique shopping, famous

River Street, Juliette Lowe home, even actual ghost tours. You are

almost guaranteed to see dolphins on this trip if you keep an eye out

for them.

Also find the huge, private outdoor shower with hot/cold water. Everyone gets in line to use this shower over the indoor ones. 1st floor has the main Living Area: Great room with hardwood floors, huge vaulted open ceiling, Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, full dining area, Furnished front porch with ceiling fans, wicker furniture and bistro table, Guest BR 1 with wonderful King size bed, Guest BR 2 with two full size beds., and 1 Full Bath on this level. Top story has the private spacious Master Suite with King Bed, Twin trundle beds, huge bath with double vanity, sep shower & jacuzzi tub, huge walk-in closet. Extras provided in the home for your convenience are: 4 TV's, 3 vcr's, 2 dvd players, cd stereo, books, board games, vhs movies, dvd movies, coffee maker, hand mixer, blender, barware includes wine-martini-marguerita glasses, washer/dryer, 10 beach towels, 10+ beach chairs, 2 beach carts, 2 beach umbrellas. Also, Comcast "On Demand" on main tv but no pay channels are available. Regular cable on bedroom tv's. One sofa in living room is a sleeper. But, best of all...We provide 6 ADULT BICYCLES; however, last summer some bikes disappeared or broke. Owner tries to provide 6 working bikes but cannot guarantee due to dependency on guests to take care of them. While there is no guarantee, you can hopefully plan on 6 bikes.
