RENTAL POLICY AND INFORMATION
Prior to making your reservations, we ask that you carefully review
our policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) night minimum stay is required, except during
peak and holiday periods when minimum stay requirements are longer.
Last minute reservations are always welcome but are subject to
PAYMENTS: Payments may be made by personal check, cashiers check or
money order. Personal checks returned will have a $20.00 service fee
CHECK-IN TIME is 4:00 PM and CHECK OUT TIME is 11:00 AM. Unauthorized
extensions beyond check out time will result in a half to full day
charge against your security deposit. To avoid such charges please
call us prior to 10:00 AM to see if a late check out is possible.
SUPPLIES: Upon arrival you will find a starter set of soaps, toilet
paper & paper towels, coffee, tea cream and sugar. You may want to
bring or plan on locally purchasing additional supplies to last your
POOL/AMENITIES: Children under 16 have to be supervised by adults
using the swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi baths, hot tub, and pool
table. Safety of the children is the sole responsibility of the
accompanying adults. Owners waive any responsibility and liability
for any accidents which may arise from use of the swimming pool,
room, jacuzzi baths, hot tub, and pool table. In addition, owners
waive any responsibility for any accidents which may arise due to
snow, ice, and any other hazardous conditions, and negligence by
guests or any members of their party.
FIREWOOD: There are three gas fireplaces in the property. Firewood is
not necessary since these are all environmentally-safe gas
TELEPHONES: There is a telephone line that allows unlimited local
calls but will require a calling card or credit card to place long
HOUSEKEEPING: All reservations are subject to a housekeeping charge
of $320.00 for departure cleaning. This charge is itemized in your
statement. For weekly guests, daily housekeeping services can be
provided upon request for an extra charge of $160.00 daily. The
initial bed linen and one set of bath towels per person are provided.
Extra towels are provided for the hot tub and pool. Guests are
asked to leave the house with trash gathered and left in the garbage bins
inside the garage, dishes washed or dishwasher started and furniture
arranged as upon arrival. If the house is left excessively dirty,
your security deposit will be charged for additional cleaning
Our housekeeping staff will make the final preparations of the house
for the next guests. (If guests choose to use inflatable beds, these
beds have to be deflated and re-packed in their boxes. Extra sheets
are provided for these.)
PETS: Our property is not designed to safely house pets. Contact us
for further information.
AIR CONDITIONING: As Lake Tahoe enjoys a temperate climate during
summer, we do not have air-conditioning.
DEPOSITS: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of deposit of 50%
SECURITY DEPOSIT: All rentals require a security deposit. The minimum
deposit is $1000.00 but may be made higher due to special
circumstances. The security deposit must be paid together with the
payment of the remaining fifty percent (50%) 30 days before arrival
date. However, deposits for weekly Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New
Years reservations must be received 60 days before arrival. Any
damages to the unit resulting from misuse, neglect abuse or theft by
the guest or any member of his party or invitee will be charged to
