House, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, 4 Sleeps

First of all, so you know, this is 55+ adult community and we must

rent to someone who is 55, and the other should be over 45. It is a

rule, and we must abide by it. Also, the Park has a no-pet rule, so,

again, we must abide by that as well. Thanks for understanding.

We also have a two bedroom, bay front home in Sandpiper for rent. Please request

the bay front home in your email under comments, or give us a call. This unit is rented through March, 2015. April is available by the week or month.

Please see our calendar for available dates to book. Thank you.

Our comfortable mobile home is located in Sandpiper Resort, situated

between the Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, with only 1/4 mile

separating them. The Bay is a couple hundred foot walk away, and the

white sandy Beach of the Gulf a short walk across the street (about 3

minutes.)

The large screened-in Florida room has table with chairs, sofa, chairs. There is a small exterior deck with 2 sun chairs.

Our living area is bright with windows on 3 walls. The kitchen contains

everything needed for ordinary cooking.

The bedroom has a queen bed. There is a tub/shower in the

bathroom.

Parking for one vehicle is immediately adjacent to the mobile home.

We are located in Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island in an Owner

owned and operated Mobile Home Park. This Park is privately owned and is

well maintained and attractive, as the owners have a great pride in

ownership. We have great neighbors who will welcome you. There is a

community Clubhouse, with lots of activities should you care to

partake.

You will surely make friends quickly and easily here. And we are

priced very attractively, considering rentals on Anna Maria Island.

And with everything you need...except your clothes!!

About the Owner

We live in the Adirondack Mountains during the summer where we run a resort on Sixth Lake on the Fulton Chain of Lakes. We spend the winters in Asheville, NC....still in the mountains but with a milder winter. We have been renting houses, apartment, and cottages for many years.

Location

From the Owner

Anna Maria is a wonderful place....we have been coming here for 11 years now and we always look forward to coming back for a few weeks. If you love to be around water, this is the placed for you. If you dont like big box stores, this is the place for you. lf you like quaint shops and restaurants, you will enjoy the island. If you like beautiful white sandy beaches, this is the place for you. There are great places to walk, ride bikes, picnic, as well as great cultural events in Bradenton and Sarasota. We are 100 feet from a beautiful sunrise every morning, and a 4 minute walk to the beach for sunsets every night....what else do you want? Like our neighbor, who we bought the property from, said to me, 'Rich, it is most beautiful place in the world!' It is one of the last bits of 'Old Florida' left without the box stores, the high-rises, and one that gives you an 'Island' feeling without leaving the mainland.

Activity and Interests

Nearby Boating, Fishing, Swimming, Sailing, Para sailing, Water

Sports, Island Tours, Snorkeling/Scuba Diving, Biking, Bird

Watching, Golf, Dinner Cruises, Restaurants and Night Life.

Within driving distance to Disney/Orlando attractions, Bush

Gardens/Tampa, Sarasota/Gulf Coast cultural and recreational

attractions.

Anna Maria Island is truely a one of kind place...it is the place

that Floridians still call the last bit of 'Old Florida.' A bit of

an 'ocean island' feeling.

Here is a great thank-you letter from one of our last tenants.

We couldn't have been more pleased to have received such a

great letter:

'Dear Richard,

Enclosed, please find the keys to your castle. I have to say that my

stay at your mobile home was one of the most enjoyable weeks that I

have had in a long time. The community is in a perfect location and

the residents were very friendly. I could not believe how close it

was to the beach!

The weather could not have been nicer and i was able to spend most of

the time at the beach, in the water. You have furnished your mobile

home beautifully and you have provided everything that anyone would

need for their stay. Thank you so much! Your thoughtfulness and

anticipation of everyone's needs certainly made my stay more

pleasurable.

I am looking forward to visiting AMI again, hopefully in the near future.

Sincerely,

Vivian'

Notes:

  • Beach chairs and an umbrella for travel to the beach are there. The free Trolly has a stop at Sandpiper Resort, and takes you up to the City Pier in Anna Maria, and down to Coquina Beach and Bridge Street in the south. It runs all day long. There is a fire pit at the chairs next to the dock and waterfront in the park. This park is privately owned and the owners take pride in the park, trying to make improvements to their homes and the park in general. The people are very nice and helpful, and you should not have any problem making some friends and getting involved. There is a community room and many events happening there during the winter months mostly. Sarasota is only a 15 minute drive south through Long Boat Key and has so much to offer in terms of culture, plays, music, museums, etc. There are many activities including boating, and boat excursions, fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, swimming, shopping. There are great restaurants and quaint shops on the island.
