Property Details

Updated: Dec 17, 2014
Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 6 Sleeps

A romantic get away or a fishermans paradise, you can have it both

ways here. As the moon rises over the ocean you can take your

special someone for a walk on the 890 foot private pier. Just sit

and watch the waves roll in while you enjoy each other, or grab the

fishing pole and come try your luck with the great fishing.

You can sit on your balcony, in this 5th floor unit, and watch the

sun rise over the ocean. You can see for long distances up and down

the beach and see the dolphins at play or the shrimp boats going out

for the day. Very few people are on the beach, sometimes there's no

one for as far as you look both ways.(This can be anytime of day.)

The family at the beach, pool or pier, just walk out on the balcony

and you have them all in view. Maybe they are at the tennis court,

that's out the front door.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and is on the ocean side so

at night you can raise the windows and let the ocean lull you to

sleep. The great room has sliding glass doors to the balcony. The

sofa & love seat both let out into beds. HBO is available on the

36' TV & the TV in the master bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen

size bed and a twin bed. The sofa & love seat turn into a queen &

twin bed.

When you go down to the beach be sure to take something to put the

sharks teeth in, yes I said sharks teeth. On Amelia Island they

dredge the St. Marys River and it releases fossils & sharks teeth

that are distributed down the beach. One of my favorite pastimes

(as well as many other islanders) is looking for teeth & fossils.

It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. Or you can drive down

to the end of the beach and go horse back riding on the beach.

Tired of the beach, the historic downtown area is awesome. Great

shopping, restraunts, boat rides, trips to Cumberland Island, tours,

gambling boats, Charter fishing boats, and so much more. Or bring

your own boat they have space at the marina. The Jacksonville Flea

Market is open on the weekends. And don't forget GOLF. There are

several challenging golf courses on Amelia Island with all the

courses just minutes away. Walk across the street to restraunts and

shopping. Or grill out here for dinner or for your tailgate party

for the Georgia Flordia football game.

The kitchen & greatroom were recently remodled with new custom

cabinets, marble counter tops, all new appliances, ceramic tile

floors and everything updated. Washer and dryer are in the unit.

Everything is there to make your stay confortble and relaxing.

Once you go to the condo on Amelia and enjoy the quite, laid back

feeling of the island you'll want to come back again and again.

Birthday Vacation

  • 5 of 5
This was the most pleasant vacation we have had in a long time. The condo was spacious and the view from the balcony was great!! It gave us the time we needed just to relax and walk on the beach and fish from the pier. The shops were very nice and there were lots of places to eat. The food was great.
We are planning to come back more often and would recommend it to all our friends.

this is the best place on earth! The view is spectacular to say the least, the accommodations are beautiful and the rates are fabulous!!

The recent renovations were a HUGE surprise. I want to take the whole bed/bath home with me! They are simply beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us. I can't wait to go back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review the condo and your stay. I do agree with you, it is one of my very favorite places on earth. It does feel like heaven. I do appreciate your positive feed back on our master bed & bath remodel. Especially since you have stayed in the "before & after". The rain shower adds a nice touch on sun kissed shoulders. Plus the upgrades around the complex are very nice. I have your week reserved for next year & look forward to having you as my guest again. If you get a chance to run away this fall/winter, I'm going to have some great island getaway specials. DJ

Our wonderful stay!!!

  • 5 of 5
We have stayed here many times & the condo is always clean & welcoming. We enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the island & that is why we go to Amelia Island. The condo has everything one needs for a stay of a week or a month. The large kitchen is easy to cook in.....just like being home! The master bedroom & bath were renovated this year (2014) & they are beautifully done! The view from the 5th floor condo is gorgeous & with the large balcony you can hang out in any kind of weather! There is a private pier (only for Amelia by the Sea occupants!) & we enjoyed walking on it & watching all the fishing going on from the end of it! Fun to see what was caught. The grounds are well maintained & we like that the condos are in a gated community. The pool is always sparkling! The office staff have always been helpful & are there whenever you need them. Absolutely a wonderful place to spend a no-stress, laid back kind of vacation!

One Fantastic Vacation!!

  • 5 of 5
Your condo is the best we've ever rented. It had everything you could want. Fantastic view, one fine fishing pier, beautiful beach with very few people, nice tennis courts, pool with lots of lounge chairs, a grill for cooking steaks near the pool, a TV in all the rooms and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking all those fish we caught. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the ocean. Thanks for making such great deals so we can afford to come. Me and my buddies are going to come back for a fishing weekend. Looking forward to it soon.
