This spacious and well-appointed 3 to 4 bedroom home offers a large working kitchen, breakfast nook and formal dining room. The house is equipped heat and central air conditioning .
There is a large, fully outfitted gourmet kitchen which can accommodate simple to complex food prep. Enjoy those special feasts any way you want to go. A gas grill is just a few steps away on the deck and rounds out the cooking options. The adjoining dining room can easily accommodate 8 for meals. The adjacent living room has lots of comfy seating for reading, relaxing, or watching the basic cable TV. With a large collection of books and movies, every guest should be able to find something to while away the time. Off the living room is a screened in front porch; a wonderful spot to watch the lake go by as you sip your morning coffee or take an afternoon nap. You will find a small den in the northeast corner. It contains a desk for note writing and a collection of music for your listening pleasure.
Take either set of stairs to the second floor bedrooms. The master suite is located on the southern end of the house and contains a queen size bed. Expect more great lake views. The adjoining full bath with shower and double vanity sinks is spacious. On the north end, the upstairs has another bath and two bedrooms with full sized beds. The northern most bedroom also has a sitting area. The third bedroom is reminiscent of the original cottage and bright with expansive views to the south. Between the bedrooms on the north and south ends of the house one can find the game room and laundry. The game room also acts as a fourth bedroom and has a full sized futon. Board games, puzzles and a video-game-ready TV are there to help while away the occasional rainy day. The laundry is conveniently located close to the bedrooms and baths.

Trails, Antique Trails, and many New York State Parks the area possesses a bucolic tranquility. Points of interest include the Women's Rights National Historic Park, Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, and Finger Lakes National Forest. Antique shops and farm markets occur through out the summer. For serious shoppers the Waterloo Outlet Mall has a huge variety of stores offering fine merchandise and discount prices. Local Mennonite and Amish crafts and food can be found at Sauder's Market in Seneca Falls and at road side stands. The Pro Bass Shop in Auburn has every imaginable thing a outdoor enthusiast would want.
Less than 1 hour will transport you to Ithaca and its many colleges, multi-cultural
restaurants, and shops. There are many theatre and music venues to explore there as well.
Just 1 hour takes you to either Rochester or Syracuse to enjoy their
sporting events, both Pro games or College, along with museums, and
10 minutes from New York Chiropractic College, 20 minutes from
Hobart-William Smith, 30 minutes to Cayuga Community College, and 40
minutes to Canandaigua's Finger Lakes Community College and
Preforming Arts Center. If you came to hike try the Finger Lakes Rail Trail, Finger Lakes National Forest, Esker Brook Trail at Montezuma NWR. Taughannock Falls State Park, Watkins Glenn State Park, Buttermilk Falls State Park, and Robert Treman State Park.
Head down Seneca Lake to Watkins Glen, located within an hour's drive. Watkins is more tourist oriented. There is a fabulous shoe store, Famous Brands, and many other great shops and restaurants to explore. The plethora of wineries located along the way along with fine restaurants and antiques make it a great day trip. Go a little farther away to Corning and see the recently renovated Glass Museum.
