Waterfront Cottage, Clamming, Beachcombing, Private and Quiet

Property Details

Updated: May 20, 2015
Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, 6 Sleeps

Beck's wish was for a simple cottage on the coast with clams in the front yard and woods in the back. It's all here on Eastern Bay/Frenchman's Bay in Lamoine. Sit on the deck of this pine-paneled cottage enjoying views of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park and enjoy the clams from the beach 50 feet from your door. The cottage has two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 twins) and a futon sleeper in the livingroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Simple, clean and comfortable...Beck's Wish. Quintessential Maine Coast.

Cottage life!

  • 5 of 5
We have stayed here many times and will continue to return. Close to Bar Harbor (20-30 minutes), but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle.
If you are after peace and quite, there is not a better place to find it. The cottage lacks nothing, Neat, clean and set on a very private lot.
Hot coffee on the deck in the morning, dig clams in the afternoon, and sit around a campfire at night. Views of Caddilac Mtn. across the bay is icing on the cake.

From the Owner

Private, Stunning ocean view. Away from the hubbub of Acadia, yet close enough to visit daily/nightly or go in your own direction entirely.

Activity and Interests

Acadia National Park across the bay and an easy drive. Lamoine State

Park and Lamoine Beach just down the road. Fresh water swimming at

Blunt's Pond (aka warm) within a mile. Ellsworth is ten minutes away

and has everything you could need.

The quiet side of the Acadia National Park area. Walk the beach, walk to Lamoine State Park. Launch your kayaks from the front yard.
