One bedroom, one bath, second floor unit in very well managed and maintained development with prime location on the 'no drive' area of New Smyrna Beach.
There are only 100 units in this beach front
complex making the beach quite, not heavily occupied, even in the
businest season. Second floor unit and yes, there are hand railing
on both sides of the stairs.
The advantage to this second floor unit is that no one walks in
front of your windows, and you do have a view of the ocean from the balcony. There is no one walking over your head so the unit is quite and comfortable. You share the steps with only one other unit.
Kitchen: Just redone with custom birch cabinets and granite countertops. Has all appliances, new refrigerator, glass top range
with self-cleaning oven, microwave, all small appliances including blender, toaster, coffee maker and coffee grinder.
The dish ware is of excellent quality as are the cooking pots and
pans and utinsels. All kitchen linens are of good quality and
plentiful. The kitchen has open counter to dining area making
convenient table setting and clearing. After all, you are on

The Bedroom has a king size bed with excellent bedding, a bedside table on both sides of the bed and a full chest of drawers. The hugh closet has mirrored doors that front extra deep closet with storage shelves behind two levels of hanging rods. This closet is great for storing your luggage and other items not used every day.
There are plenty of linens including two sets of sheets for each bed (queen sofa in living room), 6-8 sets of towels, 4-6 beach towels. There are two blow up Coleman mattresses, twin size (with electric pump) for extra sleeping during the grandkids visit.
The Living Area has two leather recliners, a sleeper sofa (queen
size) and an entertainment unit that holds the 42' HD TV and DVD
player. The entire area was recently carpeted with excellent quality
carpeting. The entry way is tiled and contains a closet for
jackets, vaccum cleaner, fishing rods or what ever else you choose.
The bath has been updated with bathtub, shower walls, toilet (raised) and sink reglazed, and all new fixtures.There is an under the sink storage as well as a cabinet over the toilet enabling plenty of space for storage of your personal items. Safty grab bars were recently installed to assist you in and out of shower safely.
The hallway contains the unit for the heat and air conditioning units and has a half length storage space underneith.
I extend the use of the owners closet to my tenents at no additional
charge. It is furnished with a large book case and a desk. I have
a phone line hook up possible for your computer should you desire to bring one, that can enable you internet access. Wireless access is also available through ATT.
Washer and Dryer: There is a balcony off the living area that overlooks the pool and has a closet containing a large capacity stacked washer and dryer.
This balcony is carpeted for your convenience.

I bought this unit a year after I was widowed. I raised 5 children alone. they grew up loving this unit. It provided us with yearly vacations until we moved from Maryland to Florida in 1979. Three of my children live within a few miles of this 'getaway' and are able to use it a few weekends a year.
I am an RN and Certified Healthcare Risk Manager who is now retired and living in Winter Haven, FL.
This wonderful unit has seen my children grow up from pre teen/teen to responsible adults who still and will always enjoy and love this place.

Activity and Interests
New Smyrna Beach has many excellent restruants
street, Flagler Avenue, has many interesting shops and several bars/resturants, golf course, churches, grocery, beach shops, and a live community theatre.
little cafe's. There is a wonderful nature board walk on the north
beach and south about 10 miles is the National Seashore, an historic
area that is interesting to visit. The historic light house at
Pounce Inlent is just north on the beach and can be visited by
crossing the south causeway in Port Orange, just north of NSB.
About 1-1/2 hour drive will get you to most Central Florida parks,
Disney, Epcot, Universal Studios, Sea World and just a bit in the
other direction, the Kennedy Space Center.
Daytona Speedway is just 15 miles north and just across the street
is the Volusia Mall and very close to the Daytona Beach Airport.
The dog racing track is adjacent to the Daytona Speedway if you like dogs better than you like cars!
DeLand, the county seat of Volusia County, is located 25 miles inland
and is an interesting area where the well known and respected
Stetson University is located.
There are several excellent golf courses, both public and private, within easy distance.

- Pool: This unit overlooks the heated pool. From this balcony there is a limited view of the ocean. The balcony is furnished with a table and two chairs. The entire pool deck is done with pavers and furnished with lounges and tables with unbrellas. The courtyard behind the pool has a large picnic area that is surfaced with pavers and has a large gas grill available for your use. There is a rather large wooden deck, ocean front, that has several chairs and chase lounges for those early morning or quite evenings of ocean gazing,,,the perfect beginning or end to a quite and relaxing day. The Association maintains an office, on site, open 9-5 Monday through Saturday, and there is an emergency number for after hours and Sunday. The staff there is very helpful. Your mail is sorted into boxes by unit. There is a fax machine in the office should you have need of that service, for a very nominal charge. New Smyrna Beach is fortunate to have a hospital that is affiliated with the Halifax hospital system, there are many qualified physicians to serve health considerations. Grocery shopping is close (4 blocks to Food Lion), 2 miles to Publix, both beach side. There are two pharmacies on the beach side, Walgreen's and CVS. There are several banks and churches easily accessed.
