Stayed here a few times

We have rented this property a couple of times for the Roscommon Fireman's Memorial Festival weekend. The place was awesome! Because it is so roomy, all of our grown kids and grandkids were able to join us and stay together. The large dining room table was perfect for family breakfasts. There were games to play, fireplace to enjoy at night and so much more. We highly recommend it!

Super stay at the Rockmoor on Higgins Lake

  • 4 of 5
Our family had a great stay at the Rockmoor. Obviously it was off season, so it was cold. We utilized the nearby park several times for games of basketball, tennis, hide and go seek, and other games. We're an active family, so the park was nice. Also, we took a nice long bike ride around the area and to the state park. Fred's Bowling in nearby Roscommon was a nice find. They have games for $1 during their happy hour which was from 3 - 6 on several days. It's a great bowling alley with automation and everything.
The house was very big. Everything worked fine and our kids had a great time. The water front would have been better if it had been warmer, but that's only because we went in May. The outside grill areas are nice both down at the beach and up by the house. I think we grilled twice.

If you chose to use this property, you would not be disappointed if you like time away with your family and lots of space. If you are looking for all the bells and whisles, this is not your place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer.
