Overview

Property Details

Updated: Sep 9, 2014
Cabin, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, 6 Sleeps

Our rustic lodge is located on the banks of the beautiful Watauga River, halfway between Johnson City and Elizabethton. The lodge was designed to resemble a horse barn and sits on 5 acres with over 600 feet of river frontage and consists of 3 cabins.

The upstairs Laurel cabin and the downstairs Hemlock cabin each have over 600 square feet of living space. Both cabins have a queen bed, queen sleeper sofa, one full bath, along with a full kitchen and living area. The Laurel and Hemlock cabins can accommodate 4 comfortably. The Laurel cabin has a balcony at both ends -- one balcony overlooks the river and the other has views of rolling pasture fields.

The Sycamore cabin is located downstairs and has all of the amenities listed above along with a loft area that has 2 bunk beds and 2 twin beds. The Sycamore has a regular sofa vs a sleeper sofa.

The Hemlock and Sycamore cabins both have double glass doors that allow for a beautiful view as well as easy access to the river.

All linens are included -- all you have to do is pick up some food and bring your personal items -- all other items will be provided for you! Kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, cookware, toaster, coffee maker and microwave.

All cabins have heat/air conditioning, ceiling fans, flat screen satellite TV, DVD/VCR, central laundry facility, and gas grills.

There is also a full hook-up RV pad with 50 amp service, located on the river. The RV lot has a private deck that overlooks the river.

We had a wonderful time enjoying family and the beautiful surroundings at Watauga River Cabins. We rented two of the cabins. Our "neighbors" in the adjacent cabin and RV were great.
All of the amenities for a weekend on the river were there. The fire pit is wonderful with wood ready for use.
Plenty of seating around the fire and on the patio.

Wonderful! Would recommend it and will stay there again.
