Located at 849 Brighton Place - Our goal is to provide your family

an opportunity to rest, relax and be refreshed and build the kinds of

memories that make for a vacation tradition. The kind of Ocean City

*memories our family has.

How have we done?

- We have been Ocean City visitors for over 40 years and have been

providing family vacation rentals since 1979.

- Last year, 35 of 45 weeks were rented to 24 families who have

returned for at least 3 seasons.

- Eleven of those families have returned for at least 13 seasons.

- Five of those families have returned for at least 27 seasons.

- Three families have returned for at least 30 seasons.

These families are like our extended family. In fact one adult

child of a longtime tenant said, “When our parents are gone, we’re

“grandfathered-in”, aren’t we?” Of course they are!

*Life is a process of creating memories. We have a choice of

creating good memories or not-so-good memories, and it’s never too

late to start creating good memories.

We have & continue to create many wonderful memories of Brighton


Sit, walk, jog, bike, surrey-ride or shop on the boardwalk and just

watch a sunrise or watch families having fun – walk, play, rest or

just meditate on the beach – swim & bodysurf in the ocean - breakfast

at Oves, dinner at the Crabtrap or Island Grill - pizza at Mack &

Manco - ice cream at the Carousel or Kohr Bros – jog or bike to

Longport - concerts at the Music Pier - cookouts on the deck -

thanking God for all His blessings - Thanksgiving family dinners -

family grace before meals - Easter Sunrise Service at the Music Pier -

Sunday Service at the Tabernacle and mass at St. Frances Cabrini -

taking the kids (& grandkids) to the playground or Wonderland for

rides or to the Water Park - the McFadden/Barry annual weeklong family

reunion - the McFadden/McCoppin annual weeklong family reunion –

visits from our 4 children & their spouses and 10 grandchildren -

greeting our returning friends & visitors and sharing the year’s events.

These are economical family rental apartments located at 849 Brighton

Place, Ocean City, NJ 08226. No high school senior groups please.

One block (11 houses) to beach and boardwalk. Beach tags and beach

chairs are provided.

This unit (Unit # 5) is located at 849 Brighton Place, 3rd floor. It sleeps 7 – A/C (3 window units) - This third floor unit is a nice private 2 BR (1Q, 1D, 1S), 1 bath apartment. It has a living room with Q-size sofa-bed, dining room and eat-in kitchen with a screened-in front porch & open rear porch. While it may not be appropriate for elderly tenants, it is very private and intimate for a small family at a reasonable price. A large shared rear deck with patio furniture

and gas barbecue make this an outstanding value.

Ocean City is a family resort. It maintains it’s family image with

a rich, diverse religious tradition, having evolved originally from a

Methodist summer vacation camp.

This location also offers two larger units. The first floor unit (Unit #3) is very spacious and offers single floor convenience, five steps above street level. Four bedrooms (2Q, 1D, 1S), living room with a Q sofa bed, dining room, modern kitchen, laundry room and two and 1/2 baths. Private enclosed front porch with Q futon. The 2nd floor (Unit #4) is nearly identical to the 1st floor unit.

Activity and Interests

Ocean City is a family resort. It maintains it’s family image

with a rich, diverse religious tradition, having evolved originally

from a Methodist summer vacation town. It is “dry”, i.e. alcoholic

beverages are not permitted to be sold or consumed in public


The Ocean City Music Pier offers excellent musical / cultural

programs throughout the summer. Ocean City’s boardwalk (about 40

feet wide) runs 2 & ½ miles from approx. 1st St. (north end) to 23rd

St. (south end). The boardwalk stores / amusements run from 6th St.

to 14th St. The boardwalk provides an excellent place to walk, jog,

bike, shop in the numerous stores, eat in the many restaurants, or

ride the various amusements.

Brighton Place is 2 blocks long. One long block (Atlantic Ave. to

Corinthian Ave.) and one short (5 houses) block (Corinthian Ave. to

the beach). Brighton Place runs in an east- west direction between

Atlantic Ave. and the boardwalk. It runs parallel to the numbered

streets and is located between 4th St. and 5th St. The property at

849 Brighton Place is 16 houses to beach/boardwalk. There are 2

blocks of empty boardwalk between Brighton Place and the

stores/amusements starting at 6th St. The block between 5th St. and

6th St. is the municipal block, i.e. it contains shuffleboard,

basketball, tennis and track & field facilities.

Brighton Place is conveniently located close (but not too close)

to food stores, restaurants, amusements and shopping. A Catholic

church is located 3 blocks away (2nd St. & Atlantic Ave.). The

Tabernacle church (nondenominational) is two blocks away (5th St. &

Wesley Ave.) and numerous other churches are within walking

distance. The shopping district and a new Super Fresh Store are

9 blocks away (8th St. & West Ave.). Big Lots, Super K, Acme, & Shoprite, as well as restaurants serving alcoholic beverages are available in nearby Somer's Point. Food and

entertainment are available only 20 minutes away in the Atlantic

City Casinos.

Ocean City offers beach activities, walking, jogging, biking,

tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, volleyball, parasailing,

amusements, water park, fishing, skateboarding, and golf.

In short, Ocean City, New Jersey is a wonderful place to spend a

family vacation! Many of our tenants have been coming back for over

20 years.
