Mix the cocktails, light the tiki torches and come and hang out...
The best place to experience serenity and the laid-back Sanibelian lifestyle is on one of the island's east-end residential streets. On Cardium, most afternoons you'll rarely see a car go by.
Cardium Guest Cottage (Duplex) is an unpretentious cottage with a coastal blue, green and white palette. Nap in the screened lanai, catch some rays in the hammock and join locals walking to the beach on this lovely, quiet, crushed-shell lined street.
Walk to the gulf beach at the end of the street (about two blocks) or ride bikes to nearby shops, excellent restaurants, or Holiday Inn's tiki bar on the Gulf. The kitchen is well appointed for those who enjoy cooking and at-home dining and you'll find the islands' shops offer an extensive selection of foods and wines.
Relax in the screened room or barbeque on the private rear deck and enjoy the 100' x 60' back yard with dozens of mature tropical trees, native plantings and orchids that create private areas for entertaining or just relaxing.
We spent a wonderful month at the Cardium Guest Cottage. Everything was wonderful. The new bikes were fabulous... hope you can enjoy them too. Weather was great!! A friend from Northern Wisconsin visited us and fell in love with Sanibel. This was our second visit to the Cottage and I'm sure we will return again. Thanks, Rich and Joy
Come to Sanibel to enjoy wildlife, world-class shelling, canoeing, kayaking, boating, windsurfing, golfing, fishing, tennis, bird watching, live theatre, more shelling, a movie theare, fabulous dining, specialty shops, more shelling, art galleries and more without ever leaving the island. Sanibel Island abounds with nature preserves and is noted for it's natural beaches.
Thanks to all of our guests and especially those that have returned year after year.
We absolutely love our beach cottage and know that you will too! Cheers!!!
