This luxury 5-bedroom, 4-bath home, in an upscale

neighborhood at the top of Point Loma, has not only a fantastic

view but a panoramic one: of San Diego’s skyline, Coronado Bay

Bridge, San Diego Bay, and the Laguna Mountains. This view is

visible from the dining room, living room, kitchen, family room,

master bedroom, den and the home's three decks.

In addition, the living room, dining room and family room (all with

fireplaces) open onto the largest of the three decks--a spacious

place to barbecue, dine, lounge and watch the boats on San

Diego Bay.

This set-up makes a convenient place for entertaining, be it a

business meeting, wedding party, family reunion, birthday,

graduation or anniversary celebration.

Perfect house for large groups

The house exceeded our expectations when we rented it for 9 out of towners and ourselves. Plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone to spread out. We had an anniversary party and everyone commented on the amazing view of downtown and the great decks. Perfect for entertaining.

My only slight complaint was that the property manager/owner took a solid month to get the sizeable deposit back to me. It could have been speedier.

Would definitely recommend.

Owner's Response: It is so wonderful to have people rent my home who are happy when they walk through the door. The home is very spacious and is wonderful for large groups.

The deposit is to be returned within 21 days as stated on my contract. I rely on my property manager to give me a check list after my guests check-out and the return deposit is based on her findings. I make every effort to have a return deposit check in the mail prior to 21 days and I send the guests an email to let them know when it is mailed.

Activity and Interests

This Point Loma home is close to the airport, downtown, Sea

World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and the beaches. Qualcom

Stadium and Petco Park—-home to the Chargers and

Padres--are nearby.

The Sports Arena, just down the hill on the Point, hosts the San

Diego Gulls, San Diego Soccers, concerts, and a large Saturday

flea market.

Point Loma is also home to yacht clubs and deep-sea-fishing

marinas on its bay side. On the ocean side, you can walk along

beautiful Sunset Cliffs and watch the sun set over the Pacific. In

Ocean Beach you can fish the pier, haunt the tide pools, sun on

the sand or ride the surf. Also a great place to shop for antiques

and check out Wednesday farmers' market. Point Loma

Lighthouse and Cabrillo Monument are minutes away. Pacific

Beach, Mission Bay, and Seaport Village are close by. The

Convention Center, Gaslamp Area, and Horton Plaza are just

across the bay via the scenic Harbor Drive.

  • This well-equipped home has everything: The kitchen has a new Jenn-Air range, two new microwaves, dishwasher, and all the small appliances you have at home: mixer, electric can opener, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, juicer, blender, and basic staples. The kitchen connects to the formal dining room and family room and all three have a view of the city skyline and bay. The family room has its own deck, fireplace, Cable TV, and DVD. It is conveniently next to the kitchen dining area and the home's largest deck--a great place for barbecuing and large-group activities. The formal living room also has a fireplace, the spectacular cityscape view, and opens onto the spacious deck. The formal dining, with same view, adjoins. The second-floor master suite has its own deck, a panoramic view of the bay, gas fireplace, cal-king bed, queen hide-a-bed, and large desk. The master bath has a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower with bench, two sinks, and large cedar walk-in closet. A separate sleeping area upstairs has a double bed and sitting area with view--a perfect area for privacy. There are three first-floor bedrooms: The first has a queen bed and bath/shower. A second bedroom has two twin beds and large bay window. The third bedroom has a queen bed. These bedrooms have California Closets installed. There is another bathroom with a shower/tub between bedroom 2 & 3. A den off the formal living room has a view of the city and bay, a fireplace, a queen sofa bed, and double French doors—-a great room for the kids. This home also has a small yard off the main deck, a laundry room with washer and dryer, a barbecue, and plenty of parking.
