Located on 11th Street in Key Colony Beach this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has just been extensively remodeled with new tile floors throughout, all new kitchen appliances and granite counters, new hall bath and the living area has been opened up to the outdoors with window walls of patio French doors opening on to a new patio. The living area, dining and kitchen areas are all open to each other and have a great flow for family gathering areas. The second stting area is a great spot to chat with the cook through the pass through bar without being under foot or to relax with a great book. Lots of windows and single pane French doors to let in light and the views of the backyard, tiki and dock.Off the kitchen is a utility room, that also leads to the garage, with the washer and dryer, bait freezer and storage area.

The master bedroom has a King size bed and private bath with a shower. Located on the waterside of the home, sliding glass doors open to the views and a convenience door in the bath is handy for clean up or use from the dock and backyard area. The second bedroom has two twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen bed, both just steps away from the new hall bath that as a tub/shower combination.

The outside patio extends the living area with lounges and couches and just beyond is a tiki with a dining set underneath for outside dining enjoyment. The step-down dock and seawall provides 75' of protected dockage within minutes of Vaca Cut for Ocean or Gulf boating access. Ladder access to the canal for swimming.

Key Colony Beach offers a municipal park area with tennis courts, basketball court, children's play area and a Par 3 golf course. Sunset Park on the west end right on Vaca Cut has a small beach area, lovely grounds and a great view of the sunset. The community is a great place for walking or biking throughout the residential streets.

Three restaurants, a deli and charter boat row are all within a short walk or drive from the home. Marathon, which surrounds Key Colony, offers more shops and services including two grocery stores grocery stores, Publix and Winn Dixie, 2 drug stores, CVS and Walgreen’s, a KMART and many other shops, bait and tackle shops, gifts shops and a wide selection of restaurants all within a few miles drive.

More beaches? Sombrero Beach is about two miles away and Bahia Honda

State Park is about a 20 minute drive south. Key West is a great day trip and about 1.25 hours south.

Boat rental companies are available in Key Colony and Marathon, most of them will let you keep the boat at your dock for the week (some will even deliver and pick up the boat!).

Additional information about rental rates

  • Refundable Deposit $500
  • Cleaning $125 + Tax
  • Booking Fee $25 + Tax
  • Tax Rate 12.5%

To hold a reservation the signed paperwork must be accompanied with a payment of the deposit and booking fee. 90 days prior to arrive a payment of 1/2 the rent and tax total is due with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is made within 90 days of arrival the deposit, booking fee and 1/2 the rent and tax total is due and within 30 days of arrival the total would be due.

Rates are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed. Personal or business checks are welcome for all payments and deposits unless the reservation is made within 21 days of arrival in which case a Cashier's Check will be required or payment by credit card. We use a credit card processor service and they will charge a processing fee of $29.95 for Visa, MC or Discover.
