Two of the bedrooms have decks with sliding glass doors as does the loft. One bedroom has twin beds, and the other two have queen-size beds. With a sofa bed
in the loft in the house sleeps eight.
Seating areas on the decks have beautiful views of the lake.
Additional seating and a hammock hidden in the woods also are ideal
spots for reading and relaxing.
At the end of a winding path down
the hill to the lake, a private dock provides direct access for

In addition to fishing and swimming in Highland Lake, the
surrounding area offers many opportunities for exploration and
recreation. Delaware River rafting, canoeing and tubing is nearby
as are many craft fairs, art galleries and antique stores. Several
golf courses are nearby. There are also riding stables in the
The new Bethel Performing Arts Center, site of the original
Woodstock Festival is less than 20 minutes north. Other points of interest
include the Minisink Battleground, Roebling's Aquaduct, the D&H
Canal and Fort Delaware. The Eldred Preserve offers nature trails
and environmental programs. Half an hour to Milford, PA, 20 minutes to Narrowsburg, and an hour to Calicoon all offer excellant antiquing and dining possibilities.
Winter provides opportunity for cross-country skiing and ice fishing
