Our Pacific Penthouse, unit F-305, puts you on the beach closer to your “California Dream” than any five-star hotel. North Coast Village Complex sits directly on the sand. Unit has full ocean, beach and harbor views. Unit F-305 is located very conveniently to all amenities and is just steps to the beach and the resort-style heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, BBQ grills, laundry and reserved parking.
The views from the first-floor balcony and second floor roof-top deck are of the sandy beach, the Blue Pacific Ocean and the quaint Oceanside Harbor and Marina.
You'll see surfers, dolphins, kayakers and sailors in the waves by day. After a stunning sun-dipping sunset you can enjoy the “Harbor lights”.
The first-floor features an open kitchen, a comfortable
great room with a gas fireplace , queen size sofa bed, 40' flat screen TV and a balcony with a sweeping view of the ocean and Oceanside's marina.
Upstairs master suite has a California King bed, walk-in closet, 27' TV and bathtub/shower combination. This level has an expansive sun deck for lounging and eating with table, chairs, umbrella and a million dollar view. Watch the surfers, the dolphins, the sailboats and the diving pelicans from your perch above the trees.
You can tan in the relative privacy of your own roof-top deck.
Downstairs bedroom offers a queen and twin bed with TV and bathtub/shower combination.

A wonderful beach condo!
A great vacation rental!
It was a great vacation
Nice, comfortable place to stay
Possibly the only downside was that the condo itself could really use some updating. All the sinks and faucets are pretty old, the kitchen counter is still tiled in the original 70's style. The carpet is pretty stained and a lot of the decor is pretty out of date, and very random. We didn't mind- but for the more selective traveler, these things might be kind of a turn-off.
Also, on the last day we read on the checkout policy that the cleaners only wash the sheets, not the bedspreads or the matress pads- and when we took the sheets off (as the checkout policy advises,) the matress pads were pretty gross. We would probably stay here again, but will definitely bring our own bedding or just wash everything ourselves the first day.
One thing to keep in mind- It was around 35-40 minutes to get to Sea World and downtown San Diego. However we took the coast highway whenever possible and it was a beautiful drive. Interstate 5 will get you there a little quicker but isn't quite as scenic.
Overall, a great place for a family on a budget. Great views, close to the beach and harbor, comfortable and (mostly) clean.
We feel that the biggest problem she encountered was with the linens. We are glad that this was brought to our attention and we encourage all of our renters to let us know when something is not up to standard. We hire a very reputable cleaning crew after each renter and pay another person to check the unit after each renter and cleaning. We have informed the cleaners and the "checker" of these concerns and they WILL BE RECTIFIED.
It is difficult to maintain carpets in a unit that has different renters every few days, especially with the beach and wet feet, but we clean our carpets several times a year and will have our people be more observant.
As far as the decor, each year we do something to improve the unit. This year it was a new king bed and boogie boards and patio umbrella. Last year it was a new sofa and chair. In previous years we have replaced guest beds, carpet (twice) dining set, shower doors, added hand held showers, etc. and, of course, we replace appliances whenever needed.
Because we try to keep out rates lower than most others and, therefore, more family friendly, we are unable to make "big ticket" decorator changes such as complete kitchen or bath remodels. This is why we make more of an effort to provide exceptional amenities...anything you could POSSIBLY want in the kitchen...beach toys...games...tourist info...Since we us this unit ourselves...and it is the only one we own...we try to keep it like our own home.
Our repeat renters apparently think we do!
Activity and Interests
2 large heated swimming pools, 2 spas, a large fitness center with 2 lifecycles, 3 treadmills,
numerous weight machines and sauna, two recreation rooms with billiard, card and ping-pong tables.
Laundry facilities are in each building.
Secured parking (1 space max ht. 6'6" length 21” )
Amenities of the Resort/Surrounding Community
The community is built right on the fine sand beach and puts you in the right place for surfing,
kayaking, kite-surfing or boating.
A few paces down the beach and you are at the Oceanside Pier which features fishing, (no license is
required & tackle is available for rental on the pier) strolling and dining at Ruby's Diner.
One block north is the Oceanside yacht harbor which has boat rentals as well as fishing charters and
party boats. Numerous shops and good restaurants are also found at the harbor.

Also available at the harbor is individual charter fishing and party boat fishing, whale watching,
sunset dining, and sightseeing cruises. Rentals of sea kayaks, wave runners (personal watercraft)
sail and power boats are available.
Wahine Surf Shop offers surfboard rentals and lessons.
The harbor hosts two out-rigger canoe clubs. These clubs rally on Sunday mornings and one offers
free trial runs for those interested in the sport.
You will be in the midst of many world-class attractions. Disneyland, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo, Wild
Animal Park, Legoland, Knotts Berry Farm, Birch Aquarium, Temecula Wine Country, and half a dozen
casinos are all within an hour's drive.
Make you way to the Oceanside Transit Center and from there one can ride a train to downtown San
Diego or as far south as Tijuana or go north to San Juan Capistrano, Anaheim or Los Angeles.

- Use either of two pools (one Olympic sized and one family sized) and two hot tubs as well as our fitness center and sauna. Laundry facilities are available in each building. The lush grounds will inspire you to stroll among our flowered pathways and koi-filled streams and ponds. If you love beachcombing, you can walk south for miles- stopping off at the Oceanside pier to watch the fishing (no license is required for fishing from the pier) and drop in for a malt at Ruby's Dine at the end of the pier. If you walk one block north, across the lagoon you're at the marina, with quaint shops, delicious seafood restaurants, harbor tours and boat rentals. The local seals are always giving a free show too! If you feel you must leave the beach, we are centrally located among many internationally famous attractions. Just past the marina is the easy entrance to I-5. Take it north to Disneyland, California's Adventure, Hollywood, Universal Studios, Pasadena---all within easy driving to return in the evening. Take the freeway south to Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Old Town and all the shopping on the way. (Carlsbad Outlet Mall will inspire you to shop ‘til you drop) If you travel east you can visit the Wild Animal Park in Escondido, wine country tours and tastings in Temecula, and lots of Indian gambling casinos in Pala. Even if you can stay a month, you won't be able to do it all— and you'll want to come back again and again. Our condo is fully equipped, just bring your clothes and your camera.
