room with pool table and a Florida sunroom. The kitchen has top-of-
the-line appliances, granite countertops.
The 2nd floor MBR suite includes glassed shower, whirlpool/jacuzzi
tub, separate sinks and make-up area.
The house is equiped with Comcast TV . Blow-up beds are available for children/teenagers to increase the
total sleeping accomodation to 14!

- It is disheartening to contact Renters the day after their arrival and be in contact several days later, and being told that they are “having a wonderful time”, and then hear about complaints after the fact, as part of an attempt to obtain a rent reduction. Had the Renter informed us immediately that the Cottage A/C unit had stopped working we would have had a repairman out straight away. The first time we have heard about a “bug problem” is upon reading the Renter’s review. Had the Renter informed us of a problem, the pest control company who treats and maintains the property would have come right out.
-Unfortunately, the Renters statement that we retained $400 in “extras” is simply untrue. They were informed and the rental contract clearly specifies that the charge for electrical usage and the standard cleaning fee would be deducted from the Security Deposit. However, we did retain $138.66 for damages (wrong gas used in the new blower that is not for tenant use); add’l cleaning; cleanup of a trash mess; as well as the cost of groceries which we purchased for the Renters at their request.
-Similarly, the comments about broken items and cheap furniture is also untrue. For example, while we have 4 large flat screen HDTV’s, we do also have 3 older technology T.V.’s, which most Renters appreciate as most of the rooms in the house have a TV. We have very expensive leather furniture, a Billiards Table, several pillow top Stearns & Foster beds with very high quality bedding. There are no ”broken switches and tiles”!
-This property is our primary residence when it is not rented out, so it is a “home” with all the benefits of excess of furniture, kitchen cookware etc. In preparation for a Renter arriving, we pack up our MBR, emptying out a dresser, night tables, medicine cabinets etc. and stack all of those personal items in one closet with a note on the door asking Renters to not enter, while leaving a 2nd closet empty for the Renters use. This reviewer has stated to us that unless we lock the door “nosy rude people” will enter .…and indeed this renter and his family entered our closet, went thru our personal possessions, and removed some of them for their own use.
-The pictures will be updated as the front deck was replaced and some furniture has been upgraded.

In addition, a $300 charge (plus Sales/Bed taxes) for cleaning plus a utilities charge will
