This house is three houses off the ocean with ocen views from the back deck. It is abour 600 feet to the ocean. The hot tub is on the second level deck. There is a big screen television and several other tvs. We have internet access. There is a fish cleaning table out back. There is a gas fireplace in the living room.

We are members of the Nags Head golf course and this allows you to play at guest rates.We are members on the Village of Nags Head community pool and tennis courts that are 2 blocks away..

The outside of the house is very nice. Great decks, sitting areas, and nice hot tub. Even a small view of the ocean. Walk to the beach is on a boardwalk. The inside needs considerable work.Not well-maintained. Kitchen is not very well equipped and fridge and oven are not in the best shape. Furniture is nice upstairs. Bedrooms are nice sizes but decorations in need of replacement as well as the comforters. Carpet is dirty and needs to be replaced. For the price I do not feel the house deserved more than a fair rating. Location in the OBX is close to shopping and groceries. Dealing with Sun Realty was ok but one woman was not very pleasant. Also Internet was not working and had to call to get it up. This meant spending time at the house waiting for someone to come and service but now it is up and working. I would not reccomend this property unless it has renovations.

Owner's Response: Our goal is to provide a pleasant and fun vacation experience.
Unfortunately we do have an occassional guest that doesnt leave the house in as good a shape as the got it initialy.
It would have been nice if the renter that posted this would have emailed or called me apon arrival so we could have done some things to make the the stay a more pleasant experience. That is why I give every renter my cell and office number.
Her feedback did allow us to be aware of some issues which we have addressed.

The carpet was replaced today. Since we do allow renters with pets, we replace the carpet every three years, and clean the carpet 3 times per year. We have it spot cleaned any time an incoming renter lets us know that it needs it.
Unfortunately we may be forced to stop allowing pets, as renters with pets that soil or tear carpets dont let us know, and even though we clean regularly one bad guest can make for a disaster for the next guest.
We can have carpet cleaners there the same day, all an incoming guest guest has to do is call or email.
We do have two sets of comforters for this house.
Sun services sent the newer ones to the cleaners as we evidentily had a messy guest prior to this guest, so the back up ones were on while this vacationer was there. The cleaned comforters have returned.

The range were replaced this week as well. We had the ice maker repaired.

There are instructions in the house to help log on to the internet and the password is on the router, and on the instruction sheets in the house.

Our goal is to help all guests have a good experience, and can only address issues if they are brought to our attention as we do rent this house a fair amount so several weeks do pass between our visits, and Sun Services does inspect between guests but evidentily wasnt reporting issues to us, unless they felt they were major. We are asking them to be more vigilent in reporting any findings to us between guests so we can address tham timely.
