Imagine your dream getaway; being in a one-bedroom villa in a gated
village nestled with dozens of other two-story colorful villas
surrounding a 5000 square foot pool with an attached tiki bar and
grill now imagine this resort hidden on Floridas Western most
island Perdido Key connected on the East by bridge to the city
of Pensacola and to the West by bridge to Orange Beach, Alabama.
Imagine being on a lush barrier island tempered by the warm waters
of the Gulf of Mexico waters which measure in the 80s in the
summer and in the 50s in the winter (Fahrenheit).
Stop imagining and start believing! You have discovered the lost
paradise which is the Purple Parrot Village Resort, on Perdido Key,
History? Perdido Key was discovered by the Spanish in the 15th
century and literally translates as Lost Island. Sixty-five
percent of Perdido Key is protected from development by state and
federal parks. Johnson Beach part of the federal national
seashore is only one-forth mile from the Purple Parrot Village
Resort, allowing access to some of the whitest beaches in the world,
and certainly some of the most beautiful sunsets!
You will learn a locals secret; because the Park Service charges $8
for daily access, few tourists come to the particular beach. On a
strict budget? Further on down Perdido Key Drive is the Florida
State Park free beach access to the same beautiful beaches!
Daytime activities? Just bring your golf clubs, beach towels, or
scuba gear and enjoy the many attractions of the Perdido Key area.
There are specific activities for all seasons here in this lost
History lover? Aviation buff? You will be elated as you visit the
Museum of Naval Aviation at NAS Pensacola, just minutes away. The
world-famous Blue Angels are based here as NAS Pensacola and you can
watch them practicing overhead many times a year.
Your home-away-from-home? Your villa is one of about 100 villas in
the resort (none over two stories tall), and comes fully furnished.
It includes all the amenities to make your stay a comfortable and
relaxing one. The villa is in a gated community, and also features
a waterfall cave, an island Jacuzzi, an indoor
pool, sauna, and hot tub (for the winter months), and a workout room.
Enjoy the nightlife? Music lovers will be thrilled with the large
variety of talented musicians in the area. The famous Flora-Bama is
just down the road. The Jellyfish Bar is located at the new
Villagio Shops at Perdido or check out Hub Staceys on Innerarity
Point along with other clubs in the area which attract singers and
songwriters from all over the country. Or spend the evening at the
dog races, only a short distance away.

drive a short distance to spend the day at the Tanger Mall outlets
in Foley, Alabama. Take a quick drive to the Wharf in Orange Beach,
