Okay, so we have been coming to Key Largo for many years for family vacas and have stayed numerous places. Stayed with our family of 5 (kids 21,18,13) for a week during Christmas at this amazing property. If you are looking for paradise, this is it! My family likes to be in the water from the moment we get up until the last ray of each gorgeous Key Largo sunset, and this was the ideal place to do just that. There is a canoe, but I also rented stand up paddle boards and a sail boat for the week. The dock was huge and perfect. We would sit at the end of it at night and marvel at the glass-like bay water and the carpet of stars above. Manatees were daily visitors in the bay. The kids swam with them numerous times. Dolphins swam along with our sail boat. The owner was kind enough to lend us some fishing gear, and we fished a great deal from the dock and the boats. This property is so private, which we love. It is gated and fenced on both sides. There is a private residence on one side and a small accomodation property on the other. Neither disturbed us at all. (great restaurant at end of driveway). We felt like millionaires for the week to be privileged enough to rent this house. The bay views from inside the house are wonderful. The bay views from the upper front deck are wonderful.(was drawn out there to drink my morning coffee on the rocking chairs each day). The bay views from the fantastic patio under the house are wonderful. Speaking of that patio, it has a complete kitchen, a very nice barBQ, dishes, fantastic furnishings, a commercial sink, a microwave, fridge. You can literally play, eat, lounge, boat, fish, swim, snorkel, shower (darling outdoor shower), and never go indoors, except to sleep on the very comfy beds. Great linens and plenty of fluffy towels. Small, well-stocked, very functional kitchen inside, nice living area with comfortable sectional, and a darling dining table with a glass top full of sand, sea shells, sea creatures, butterflies, etc. Patio has some also. So clever and fun! TV looked like a nice one, though we never turned it on, too busy playing! I should mention the awesome little beach area also. So well kept and perfect. Great sand, chairs, a fire ring, coconut palms in a perfect row along the water. I cannot say enough good things about this property! We were so delighted to just stay there for the entire week, and wanted for nothing. We hated to leave for even an hour to fetch groceries!
