Guestbook comments from the owner

We got sunburned in March, played 'sand trap' on the beach, played jack pot game, started a mud fight in the tidal canal. Jessie's shoe came off and she stepped on an oyster, needed four stiches in Southport. The doctor said "oyster wounds are notorous for infections" , but that did not happen. Went to Mexican restaurant after stiches and had a fun meal.

October vacation

  • of 5
The house was very comfortable & had everything you needed except the toilet paper was just about upon arrival. The owner sent detailed information about the house and how to use everything. Very good restaurants in the area and close enough to the supermarket. The views from the back deck overlooking the inlet were amazing. Kayaking was really nice as was watching people shrimp & fish. Couldn't ask for a more perfect setting.

Owner's Response: Very sorry about not having much toilet paper. We've had guests for the past 17 weekends in a row, and try as hard as we can to keep up with everything. Glad you had an enjoyable stay, thanks George

Awesome Place

  • 5 of 5
We really enjoyed our week at Two Seas. The view out over the tidal water was amazing - From the same location you could see the sunrise and a sunset over the water which was awesome. The beach was great too - very short easy walk and all of the owner's amenities were so helpful. This included the beach cart, chairs, boogie boards, etc... the kajaks and shrimp nets were great as well. We took our dog on the beach and in the tidal river where he had a great time playing in the water. We can''t wait to book our next years vacation!

Two Seas and Oak Island....WOW!!!!

  • 5 of 5
The Two Seas beach house was perfect!!!! It's location facilitated our relaxation and quiet. The canal behind the house provided tons of entertainment, and we didn't even have to go in it. LOVED IT!!!! George provided us with all the info we needed to help us with our stay at the house and moving around the island. The house is extremely well furnished, clean, and well cared for, inside and out. There was NOTHING more that we needed. We will be back.

Great Stay for Two Families

  • 5 of 5
We just completed a terrific week long vacation at Two Seas. Our two families, each with two children, were very comfortable there. We found everything (and more) that was promised in the info provided by the owner. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture was cozy. The kids did lots of fishing off the dock, learned to cast a shrimp net, and took a couple of kayaking jaunts. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and the quiet of the marsh, and it was so easy to pack up a wagon (provided) for a day on the beach. All in all, it was a great stay and we would recommend it highly!

Wonderful house!

  • 5 of 5
My family (husband, 2 kids, 2 in-laws & 1 dog) and I love this house! It is very clean and has a homey feel to it. We really enjoyed the use of the kayaks and fishing dock during high tide and being able to cast for bait during low tide. The owner is very easy to work with and responded in a timely manner to my emails. We would definitely recommend Two Seas to our friends & family and we hope to visit again next year!

Awesome Week at the Beach

  • 5 of 5
Couldn't think of a better location. The kids loved the Tidal creek behind the house. Fishing, Shrimping etc....The Kayak's were a hit as well. Instant entertainment for the outdoor lover. We the parents had a great time as well. The wife actually finished her book by Tuesday which never happens on Beach trips. I however, didn't finish mine because I was too tired at the end of the day to read. There is something to do from Sun up to Sun down at this particular house. We are already looking forward to returning next summer. Thanks to the owner for all of the helpful hints on places to go etc. If you want good fresh seafood then go to Haag & Sons......Also the best Key Lime Pie EVER!!!!
House was perfect for our family of 5. Clean and well maintained and lived just as it showed in the description. We would definitely recommend the house to friends. It was one of the best beach vacations ever. Thanks!!

Location

Activity and Interests

Oak Island is a quiet residential island predominently single family homes, no high rise hotels are allowed.

The marina for deep sea fishing is 2 miles west of the house, and a local fishing pier is about 2 miles East of the house, there are several good

seafood reastraunts and many causal restruaunts from BBQ, to pizza, to mexican in town. Oak Island GC is good course open to the public for Golf, and Carolina National 27 holes is only 15 minutes away now over the new OKI second bridge. There is also mini golf and tennis courts at the OKI community

center in town.
