Our Stay in Gentilly/New Orleans

  • 5 of 5
We drove to the French Quarter and it was only a 10 minute drive down Elysian Fields with Public Parking next to the Quarter right off Elysian with a very easy walk to the Riverfront Trolley. We used the easy access to I-610/I-10 to go to Dragos in Metairie. We spent several hours in the private Backyard just to hang around in. Altogether a good stay and a good base to roam New Orleans and Metairie. Thanks, Judy!

Amazing

Judy was awesome, She had everything covered pot, pan, plates. The house was very clean and the area very quiet. The outside patio was very nice also, there were two grills one gas the other coal. The best moment for my family was we all helped with Easter dinner and was able to sit down in this beautiful dinning room and enjoy each other. Thanks again Judy and we hope to see you next year.

Great choice

  • 5 of 5
We were all 7 of us very pleased with the home. My 94 year old Mom could do the few stairs to the master suite on the lower level. We cooked every day and the kitchen was great to work in and very well implemented. Spices and all condiments were greatly appreciated. Location was just 3 miles staring line to down town. Plantations were fabulous. The WW2 Museum was a don't miss! French Quarter was beautiful fun and exciting. Loved the spotted Cat Jazz. Nola's was fantastic for dinner! Did some gator bites too. SWAMP TOUR AND AIR BOAT RIDES. WE TRULY HAD A WONDERFUL WEEK AND LOVED THE HOUSE. The grocery store right down the street was convenient and quaint. Cafe du Monde Bignets' were wonderful too. Oh I am
Lost forgot our Ghost and Vampire tour. And a bus tour of the City. Both great. Enjoy your stay.. We rented a van and came from California and Oregon for a girl family time. Airport was 20 minuites away. Easy commute to everything we did.
