Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a wonderful time in this well appointed and conveniently located condo, which has a gorgeous view of the Gulf from the balcony. We had wanted water front, and very much enjoyed the sights and sounds from the beach, especially the sunset each evening. We felt we were just high enough to have a great view, but not high as to just have a "bird's eye niew".The condo was well supplied with dishes, linens, and everything we needed to enjoy our stay, and the owner proved to be pleasant, and helpful.

Second time still a perfect choice

I wish we were still there. My wife and I love this spot; sitting on the balcony soaking in the sun and the view is the highlight of our vacation to Marco Island. This was our second visit to Aris's condo and it won't be our last. The kitchen has everything you'll need if you choose to make every meal there; we made a few breakfasts but all dinners were out on the town. Still recommending Cafe de Marco (excellent oysters Rockefeller) for a great dinner and Rookies for a pub style sandwich (I prefer the horseradish beef melt). The owners also provide everything you need for the beach, including chairs, beach towels and coolers if you want to bring something cold with you. Thanks Aris for another very satisfying and relaxing vacation.

Round 2

We came back to this wonderful unit, after staying there in May 2014
Again we were blown away, table set for 4 like we were just getting home for a meal
The view as always gorgeous and we can't wait to come back
On a note, I have read comments regarding the staff at the Seawinds on other condo sites all negative.
I must say our interaction with the front desk, was always great and the staff doing work around the grounds were always polite and helpful.
We love this Unit and highly reccomend it
The owners are great to work with and the Unit is well stocked, and very clean
It's always difficult to say goodbye at the end of our stay

Great vacation will return

  • 5 of 5
My husband an I were waiting for this vacation for quite some time. After the brutal winter we had in CT we were ready. It's an easy drive from Ft Myers airport and were so happy to cross the bridge. My second time to Marco, My husbands first. We went to stock up at my favorite grocery store, Publix, and then off to to Sea Winds. We passed the Marriott where I once stayed when I was 16. Nothing looked familiar from 1983.

The unit was great. Had everything we needed and more. Having the extra bedroom to plop our luggage was great. Our first night we walked over to the Sunset Grill next door The chicken Philly sandwich is the BOMB, went 2 more times to Sunset grill. Sunsets are amazing from the Condo as well as sunset grill.

I highly recommend CoolBeans Catamaran sunset cruise, ask for Paul. He was the best, we had a great time.
We rented a pontoon boat from Rose Marina (and my husband never drove a boat before). It was easy to navigate and the water had good markings. We went up to Naples then on our way back we docked along a beach which was great. Worth the money to get for whole day.
Took a drive south on rt 41 and went on Mitch's airboat ride, it was good, saw some gators.
Restaurents: "Sunset Grill" great, close, great sunsets
"Little Restaurant" in GoodLand good food, live music, worth it
"Tulia" in Naples.."WOW" pricey but AMAZING food on 5th Ave in Naples. Worth the drive to see 5th Ave which has one restaurant after another outside.
Snook Inn on the water for atmosphere and music

The Condo: Bed was very comfortable, very important to us for our backs. Washer and drier great to have, to wash towels and go home with clean clothes.
Air worked really good especially after a hot day at beach. Too windy to get umbrellas to work but having chairs worked out great.
Bring your own water shoes, helps with walking in and out of water. So nice to be able to swim in ocean.
Sunsets every night dolphins in the morning and sometimes evenings. It was such a relaxing trip, almost better than our honeymoon in Antiqua in 2012
I do not know how crazy busy it in in high season but we didn't have to deal with crowds, traffic and any time. So thats it for us. My husbands opinion of Florida has completely changed after being on gulf side and at Marco Island. We will be back for sure.

From the minute we walked in the door, we fell in love.
The condo we beautiful, clean smelled like fresh air, sparking and crisp. Everything was excellent, and the owner even called us to make sure we found everything and our needs were met.
We found the grounds immaculate, and the staff of Seawinds polite and helpful . We loved our sunset views and many dolphin encounters while in the water . If I ever had a bucket list this would be on it multiple times. We are looking forward to returning and highly reccomend this unit .
You will not be disappointed, if any thing you will be left breathless

A great vacation!!

This was our first trip to Marco Island and I must say the island itself is absolutely amazing. Everything is well kept and the people are so friendly. I can't say enough about this condo or the whole Seawinds facility. It was quiet, private, clean, well kept, convenient to most everywhere, and overall pretty perfect. I felt right at home from the minute we arrived.

Looking either direction up and down the beach was beautiful. The sunsets were awesome. The dolphins passing by and playing were always a treat. The pool area was nice and clean. Even though we had a couple cool days, we still enjoyed a good amount of time and a few meals on the beautiful balcony which also included lounge chairs. The free wireless internet was also convenient since work demanded some of my time and I was able to keep up with family and friends easily.

Aris and Johanna were great to work with and were always quick to reply to emails or messages. THANKS!! I would highly recommend this condo!!

Great relaxing time!

My wife and I have been Marco visitors for about 20 years - we have always stayed with my sister who lives a couple blocks from the resident's beach. This year we decided to give her a break and get an ocean view. This condo was a great choice, the fourth floor balcony afforded us a great place to have breakfast overlooking the beach and ocean. We loved the relaxing sound of the waves breaking, pelicans fishing, and the occasional dolphin sighting. We also decided the balcony was a great place to get some sun, once it made its way over to the west side of the building, we found the pool could be a little more noisy than we like, between the kids and some rather talkative adults - so the balcony was a nice quiet retreat to read, listen to some music or grab a short nap in the sun. The sunsets are not to be missed eeither. The Sea Winds is also a great spot to start and end a walk around Marco, this spot is about a mile south of the Marriott so we walked up the street, thru the Marriott and back down the beach to the condo, also walked around the the southern end of the island for the first time ever. The condo is as the pictures show except the master bed has been changed to a brass bed and the night tables have also been changed too and served as good places to store your socks and underwear. The walk-in closet is where the rest of your clothes will go. The second bedroom has a standard closet and a bureau. As will happen when a rental unit is frequently used some of the kitchen supplies will suffer some wear and tear - the frying pans were scratched, a fact that I made to the owner after I got back home, he replaced them the following day - if I had thought it would be that fast I would have told him the first day we used one. We are already making our plans to come back to the same unit next year. Although I am recommending this unit for families with young children because of the beach & pool and 2 bedrooms - I prefer a quiet environment - the balcony works great for that quiet time. The hot tub, although small, was also a nice perk. For a great meal go to the Cafe DeMarco at the other end of the island - the oysters rockerfeller are out of this world.

Owner's Response: Hi Paul, thank you for your review. Very informative and detail. You missed one new thing though, the queen bed was changed to king.
If I was a traveller , this would have given me the best appreciation of the condo and the area.
Thank you , come again
