Our LA PERLA condominium (Rm. 12) are located at 114 E. Campeche st. on the South Padre Island beach side, a one minute walk to the beach access. Convienently located right in the heart of the Island's entertainment district, two blocks to Louie's Backyard, Wahoo's Saloon and Amberjack's Bar & Grill. Book your next bay or offshore fishing trip at Fisherman's wharf just one block north of Louie's and Wahoo's Saloon. Living area features a large tv., full size sofa sleeper and recliner. Master bedroon has complete furnishings, king size bed with comfortable bedding, cable tv., large closets. Second bedroon has complete furnishings two twin size beds with comfortable bedding, cable tv., large closets. Kitchen features full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker and complete set of everything necessary to create meals. Dining area features a dining table for four persons and two bar stools at the bar area. Outside ammenities include swimming pool. Parking for two vehicles one right behind the other in the same parking spot. Internet available for $5/night.

The condo could be cleaner and it needs some painting but overall is a great place to stay. It is the best you can get for that money, my family loved the location (less than two minutes walking to the beach). We are looking forward to be back really soon.

Great location......but......

This unit is a good price and a fantastic location...BUT.....not so good if you don't like bugs!!! The master bathroom had ants non stop and the kitchen had the odd cock roach and/or beetle in the morning to greet you. The walls are paper thin, so be prepared to hear all the activities of your neighbors. Quick walk to beach and well equipped but I wouldnt rent again due to the insects.

Owner's Response: Yes, it's a good price and fantastic location and quick walk to the beach and well equipped. Sometimes things happen...AND...the problem has been addressed.

    Toiletries include: 1 roll toilet paper, no beach & bath towels, no paper towels, no coffee filters, no irons, no hairdryers. We suggest you bring beach & bath towels and your personal toiletries.
    Add 2% for credit card charges at check in. No charge for cash.
    Deposit : Reservation deposit of one night rate is required at the time of confirmation. Your reservation deposit will convert to a damage deposit at time of check in. Damage deposit is dependent on length of stay and number of people.
    Cancellation : Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will be refunded, less a cancellation charge of $20.00. Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival will be refunded if unit is subsequently rented, less a $20.00 cancellation charge.

    * Holidays and Events : Additional $25.00/night to Peak Season rate (Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor day, Sept. 16th, TIFT, BikeFest )
    Occupancy tax: 14.50%
    Fees: Linen fee $50.00 (2bd/2ba) Internet fee $5/night

    * Spring breakers : Damage deposit (minimum $275.00) is dependent on length of stay and number of people. Advance payment of $275.00 is also required 3 weeks before check in, in the form of a cashiers check,money order or credit card.
    * Winter season - starts Dec. 1st and ends Feb. 28th. Complete months only (no partials).
