Nice little nook

  • 5 of 5
Great spot in historic Charleston for an amazing price. 20 min walk to King St, but there are several restaurants and things around the unit if you don't want to walk or drive. Hominy Grill was excellent (the patio was perfect!),and Sunrise Express was good and cheap for breakfast - both right around the corner.
Definitely a studio but since we were out sight-seeing a lot the small space was just fine - especially for the great price. Thanks Jerry, would definitely return!

Convenient and parking a +++

  • 4 of 5
The apartment was small but as advertised. It was quiet, reasonably clean, and came with a parking spot. We felt safe there. We were able to walk all over the historic district and only used our car when going for a plantation tour. The owner was not on site, but was readily available to answer questions. Two good restaurants were within 2 blocks and offered scrumptious breakfasts. I would recommend this rental if you are going to spend most of your time sight seeing, otherwise you could feel slightly cramped.

Bicycle adventure

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I stayed at the condo for 3 nights and brought our bicycles to try a new experience of Charleston. I have been going to Charleston for more then 40 years and I really love the city. We usually would stay at B&B's but we wanted to take our bikes. We loved being able to have free parking and the condo was really nice and clean. Having a full kitchen and a great outdoor area was really nice!! The bed was really comfy and I am really funny about my beds!! It was a great location for being able to ride to town, the battery and even the Copper River Bridge!! Jerry was really great to give info and you could call him anytime!! He was really nice!! The Homily Grill is right behind the condo and the food was sooooo great and you could sit outside and loved it!!

Great studio in Charleston

  • 5 of 5
We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful studio apartment in October and had a great time. It is small but very well equipped. It even had a washer and dryer. The bed was super comfy; something we appreciated after a long day of touring. This rental is located near The Hominy Grill where we enjoyed shrimp and grits. Yum! We are walkers, so we walked to town and back each day but for those who choose not to walk, there is a free trolley you can ride. Charleston is such a beautiful and historic city. Jerry gave us some great recommendations on restaurants and activities which helped us plan our days. He responds very quickly to email and phone messages which was so helpful. One suggestion we have for newcomers to Charleston is to take a walking tour. You learn so much! Our guide Al had more than 20 years of experience and truly was a wealth of knowledge. We also took a carriage tour, visited Fort Sumter and went to Folly Beach and Sullivan's Island. We also toured Magnolia Plantation. There is so much to do in Charleston and the surrounding area. We hope to be able to stay in this studio apartment the next time we visit Charleston. It fit our needs perfectly.

Great Place to Stay in Charleton

  • 5 of 5
First trip to Charleston and we could not have found a better place to stay. Jerry told us about a couple of great places to eat and we loved them. We ate breakfast everyday at Hominy Grill which was just around the corner, great restaurant. We walked just about everywhere, had to wear off all the seafood we were eating. Every night we sat outside on balcony with a glass of wine. Enjoyed the city and apartment immensely.
