We love Aunt Nelda's! Just gazing out across the salt marsh soothes the soul. Cooked many wonderful dinners; we recommend Gary Howard Seafood on Deep Hole Rd. Delicious corn from the farmer's market Wed AM.

We've throughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious, airy, adorable house, and hope to return. Thank you Carl and Lee!

we had a wonderful time staying at Aunt Nelda's. The weather was beautiful, the scenery absolutely amazing, and the house was everything we needed and then some. the only discrepancies we found were that it is indeed a charcoal grill, not gas as listed. And we had some conflicting info on the sleeping arrangements. There is a queen size bed in one bedroom, twin beds in the upstairs bedroom, and a double sleeper sofa in the living room. The house was clean and well maintained, and the owners, Carl and Lee, right next door are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area.

Best Kept Secret

We had a wonderful family vacation here at Aunt Nelda`s!! The house was clean and well-stocked and the owners are wonderfully helpful. The front porch with it`s beautiful view was our oasis of peace! The beach is stunning. We loved that there were lifeguards onduty ... and if you wanted peace ... you just had to walk further down the beach (close to the bicycle access). Everything you want in a beach without the commercialism! The kids just loved crabbing and seeing the wild ponies (from afar). Our highlight, besides the beach, was Captain Barry`s Boat Tours. It was fabulous for the kids; very hands on , they learned so much and Captain Barry is hilarious! All in all, a memorable stay!

A great house!

A perfect place to stay on the island. Easy to find with a great view. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't have any luck crabbing, but bought fresh local seafood and had great fun cooking and eating at the house. We had no issues during our stay, but if we had, the owner lives right next door and was available if needed.
