Beautiful Cayuga Lakehouse available for weekly rentals in the summer and partial weeks available in the spring, fall, and winter.

Summer dates still open:

*From May 25th through June 5th 2 night minimum

*The week of Aug 29th through Sept 5th

*Labor Day weekend

Off-season (after Labor Day and before Memorial Day) the house is available for long-term rental or short stays. The house has been recently furnished. We are conveniently located 2 miles from Ithaca, N.Y. and is in a nice private, relaxing setting. We are located on the west shore of Cayuga Lake on Taughannock Blvd. just 3.5 miles from the Ithaca Commons and 5 miles from Cornell Campus and Ithaca College.

This is a modern house with a large deck featuring a hot tub overlooking Cayuga Lake. The hot tub is large and accommodates 4 people very comfortably. There are two patio tables with chairs and umbrellas and lounge chairs for relaxing outside. This house has 2 bedrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen with a brand new grill top Jenn Air stove, 2 full bathrooms, central air conditioning, and a spiral staircase.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, the second bedroom has 2 twin beds, and there is a queen sized pull-out couch in the living room. There are large closets in the bedrooms with hangers for your clothes as well as large dressers. You can hear the water lapping on the lakeshore from the bedrooms. The master bedroom has beautiful lake views. The living room has a large comfy chair with ottoman, couch, and recliner. There are bookcases with books for your use and a DVD library and board and card games for your enjoyment. The dining table is located in front of the large windows facing the lake. There is a built in oak desk. The kitchen features a vaulted ceiling, large counter tops for cooking, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric hot water kettle, blender, grill top stove for indoor grilling when the weather doesn't allow for outdoor barbecue use, cook and bakeware, dishwasher, ice maker, spices, and other staples. There is a mudroom for hanging up jackets and taking off wet shoes. The bathroom on the main floor off the living room has a stand up shower and a heat blower. The bathroom on the second floor has a full tub/shower, washer/dryer, and a heat lamp.

There are four kayaks and a canoe with paddles and life jackets available for tenant use. There is a small covered boathouse with some rafts, a mini fridge, and campfire wood. The pier has a firepit for nighttime fun. There are new lounge chairs and folding chairs for relaxing by the lake.

We have wifi high speed internet access and over 190 channels of cable TV. There is a brand new 42' flat screen TV with DVD player.

This is a family oriented neighborhood so no large parties or excessive noise allowed. Please contact us with any questions or if you would like to see more pictures of the house.

Please note: The access to the bedrooms on the second floor is via a spiral staircase. This may be difficult to navigate with infants and/or pets. The house is at the bottom of a steep driveway. In the winter the driveway is plowed as soon as possible. Steps to the house and deck are cleared of snow prior to your stay. During the stay if it snows, shoveling is required. The driveway leads to a small shared parking area where we have two designated parking spots. Additional parking is available at the top of the driveway.

*IMPORTANT!* No trailers or boats are to be driven down the driveway. Trailers and boats can be parked in the parking area adjacent to the road at the top of the driveway.

Long term winter rental available from Nov. 1st through May 15th.

Incredible house, view and host!

I have so many good things to say about our stay here for Christmas 2014.

First and foremost, Randall was friendly and welcoming and more than helpful. We had a small problem with the hot tub (our fault) on Christmas Day of all days, and he came over right away to fix it for us. I figure that's enough said, right? I was floored and grateful.

Second, the location is amazing. The house hangs on the side of the hill that hugs the lake. The view is beautiful. I wish I had better words, in fact. In the morning, hundreds of birds float down the middle of the lake, which is otherwise a sheet of glass. This is the view you wake up to in the master bedroom. The hot tub is on a porch that overlooks it all, and I can't image a season when that is not just perfect.

Third, the house is set up and stocked for any activity - canoes (we took one out in the dead of winter), kayaks, BBQ, a picnic table by the lake, deck chairs, a fire pit, even tiki lights!

I almost want to keep this place a secret so it's available for me to rent again and again. But Randall was just too good to us not to gush about it to others! Please visit, it's worth it in every way.

Beautiful Cayuga Lakehouse

  • 5 of 5
We recently stayed at the lakehouse, off season, in early February. The place was perfect for our group of four. Our favorite part was the outdoor hot tub; it was beautiful sitting outside in the middle of winter watching the snow come down & the steam rise up! We had grand plans of grilling out, but because of the snow, we ended up using the stove top "grill" inside instead (worked great!). The only tricky part in our stay was the driveway. It is pretty steep and we were a bit skeptical if we would be able to make it up and down with all the snow. However, they did a great job of both plowing and salting the driveway and we did not have any issues. We would definitely stay here again, no complaints. Thank you Randall!

Beautiful House

  • 5 of 5
My friends and I recently stayed here for New Years Eve for 2 days. The house was very clean upon arrival, Randall even left a bottle of wine for us :) Directions for expectations for the house were clearly written out. We visited Americana Winery, which was not more than a 15 minute drive up the lake. We used the hot tub, which was a wonderful feature. Randall came and inspected the house right after we left. We will definitely think about coming back in the future!

Great Location!

My friend planed a trip up to the figure lakes for her 26th birthday and we stayed here it was great.

The house was spacious enough for the 6 of us plus her dog. The only issue if you have a pet might be the spiral staircase. The 1st night she carried the dog up but the second night her boyfriend make it learn to take the steps, I was glad I got up before that ordeal.

The hot tub was an awesome feature that we took advantage of both nights. It was easy to set up and clean up, not too far from the house which is great since it got down to the low 40s the nights we were there. We were looking forward to using the kayaks as well but the day we planned to use them it was just too cold for us maybe if the sun was out it would have been more bearable but we got kind of an overcast weekend.

Due to the crowded restaurant scene in Ithaca Friday night and hearing how much was going on that weekend to draw the extra crowd we decided to cook on Saturday night. We were pre-warned about an issue with the stove making it out of commission originally not planning to cook it wasn't a big deal to us but once we decided to cook we decided to grill. Grill was great. There were enough plates and utensils for us of us. The dishwasher worked great as well.

We loved the location of this place. It was on the river, a short drive Ithaca, easy access to lot of vineyards and hiking trails. The trail marked across the street to access a large trail was easy to follow and although it was listed under the places to take your dog myself and another guest use it as a running tail. If you go to the left for about 20 minutes, I'm kind of a slow runner, you'll hit the paved running paths. If you go to the right there a few baracades the trail crumbles a little but you can get by.

Such a great experience. Having been to Ithaca before, it is great to find a place to rent that is so close to all of the waterfalls and is such a short drive from downtown. The amenities at the house (hot tub, fire pit, grille, canoes) kept us entertained the entire weekend. We will definitely be returning to stay at the house.

Thank you Randall for making everything so easy, we had a great stay!

Amazing House with an great owner!

This house is great!

I stayed here with my girlfriend in early fall. The house is very clean, upstairs and downstairs bath is wonderful. The view from the master bedroom is really fantastic.

Amenities like a Jacuzzi, washer-drier, stocked kitchen, fire-circle with firewood, fishing poles and kayaks are just the icing on the cake.

This house is about 15 minutes from Americana Vineyard and 5-10 minutes from Taughannock Falls state park.

My girlfriend left some of her belongings behind on accident and the owner, Randall, mailed them back free of charge! Stress-free vacation on a wonderful property, Thanks Randall!!
