Great for a Summer Vacation!

WOW!!! This was a great cabin in the heart of Maine! With a central location on the coast you can easily go to many places including Acadia National Park, Augusta, Bar Harbor, Belfast, and many more! JD and Cindy were great hosts and we would suggest this cabin to anyone! Great value for a great cabin, we hope to go again during winter!

Perfect retreat

  • 5 of 5
This is a perfect retreat....modern,clean, private but not too secluded.
The cabin is equipped with everything a visitor could want or need. It is immaculate and comfortable.
There were fresh flower waitng for us on the kitchen table and the outdoor tables were decorated with very useful oil lamps. The deck was great for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine...sit....sip...and breathe in the pine scent from the towering trees.
The location is just outside the village of Searsport and is a easy commute to restaurants ,shopping, groceries and Route 1...which takes you everywhere..convenient to Bar Harbor,Bangor or Freeport.
The owner is a Maine guide... a living guidebook of where to go and what to do...especially the "off the beaten path" special places! The owners really provide for the comfort of the guests...we enjoyed great lobster ...cooked and delivered to the cabin door...would highly recommend this property over any hotel or resort in the area....great for couples. families.girlweekends and guy hunting trip...it really does have it all!
