Our Galleon Bay condominium (Rm. 408) are located at 4901 W. Laguna st. on the bayfront at South Padre Island, TX.. Five to six minute walk to a beach access, and to several restaurants and bars in either direction. No pets are allowed in unit and or complex. Built in 1986, extensively remodeled in 2010. Living area features large sofa sleeper and cable tv. Dining area features a dining table for four persons and the bar area adjacent to the kitchen. Kitchen feature a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and a complete set of everything necessary to create meals. Master bedroom has complete furnishings and a queen size bed with comfortable bedding,cable tv and large closets. Second bedroom has two twin size beds with comfortable bedding, cable tv, and large closets.

Fishing off the pier is very good at night or head out for a great day of fishing in your own boat - parked in our common boat slips. If you are bringing your boat, please request the Galleon Bay boat rules and registration form, if you do not have a confirmed boat slip, you cannot use any boat slips. This should be done when condo is reserved. Completed boat rules and registration form must be emailed or faxed. The Galleon Bay manager will get back to you to confirm; or notify if all boat slips are taken. They are done on a first come first serve basis upon reservation.

Boat launch is located on Polaris St. three blocks north of Galleon Bay.During March,

Galleon Bay issues (6) wristbands. If lost replacement wristband is $10.00.

  • Total amount of rental is due at Check in. No exceptions. 3 night minimums. Add 2% for credit card charges at check in. No charge for cash.

    Deposit : Reservation deposit of one night rate is required at the time of confirmation. Your reservation deposit will convert to a damage deposit at time of check in.
    Cancellation : Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will be refunded, less a cancellation charge of $20.00. Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival will be refunded if unit is subsequently rented, less a $20.00 cancellation charge.
    * Holidays & Events: Additional $25.00/night to Peak Season rate (Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor day, Sept. 16th, TIFT, BikeFest. )
    Occupancy tax: 14.50%
    Fees: Linen fee $50.00 (2bd/2ba)
    * Spring breakers : Damage deposit (minimum $275.00) is dependent on length of stay and number of people. Advance payment of $275.00 is also required 3 weeks before check in, in the form of a cashiers check,money order or credit card.
    During March, Galleon Bay charges a onetime $25.00 security bracelet fee for every occupant, which is paid directly to Galleon Bay's property manager at check in.
    * Winter season - starts Dec. 1st and ends Feb. 28th. Complete months only (no partials).
    Rates are subject to change without notice. Please call Viviana to confirm rates.
    Toiletries include: 1 roll toilet paper, no beach & bath towels, no paper towels, no coffee filters, no irons, no hairdryers. We suggest you bring beach & bath towels and your personal toiletries.

    How does this work?
    * Call Viviana at to confirm rates.
    * Have credit card handy to make a reservation deposit.
    * Pick up keys at 127 E. Dolphin St. for your condo, you will have to pay for your stay in full at check in.
    * Your reservation deposit will convert to a damage deposit at check in.
    * When you are getting ready to check out, you must throw your trash in the trash bin (outside) and wash all pots and pans.
    * If there are no damages, your damage deposit will be credited to your credit card account in 2-3 business days after the unit has been cleaned.
