This beautiful 2BD/2BA condominium is being offered to vacationers for the first time since 1969 when the current owner’s family built the building. Two generations of family have enjoyed this lovely second floor bay front apartment. In this prime bay front location you may literally walk out the door onto the sand to enjoy the ‘quiet’ side of the beach. This unit has the best view in the building and features a lovely balcony for coffee in the morning and fabulous lights over the water in the evening.
The condo is approximately 1200 + square feet, the building has an elevator and two stairwells leading to the covered parking area or the 3.5 bayside walking paths. Spend your time on the bay or walk one short block to the bustling ocean boardwalk and all of its excitement. Mission Bay Park, SeaWorld and the Historic Belmont Amusement Park & wooden Roller Coaster are just minutes away.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bathroom; it is large and has a HD TV with cable & DVD player. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a single folding bed can be provided.
The gourmet kitchen has granite counters and stainless steel appliances including a large refrigerator w/ ice maker, a quiet dishwasher, microwave, standard convection oven and all the gadgets a cooking enthusiast could want!
The living room is comfortably appointed and features Bose surround sound HD TV w/ premium cable, CD & DVD player. The windows are floor to ceiling to make room for the amazing bay views. The gas fireplace may be used during chilly evenings or just for the amenity.
Just a short distance west of the Bahia Resort you may enjoy the happy hour at the Tangier Lounge or a ride around the bay on the Bahia Belle Sternwheeler. The condo is just a five-minute drive to Sea World, and just a short drive to the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It is also just a few miles from downtown San Diego, the San Diego Airport, and La Jolla's famous tide pools.

Wonderful Family Vacation
Our stay in San Diego
Very comfortable, great location
The condo was impeccably clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds were absolutely amazingly comfortable. The cable included many premium channels, the wifi worked great.
The condo is well represented by the photos. A couple of items things that might be useful info for some - the 2nd floor condo is accessble only via elevator (except in emergency), the deck shown in the photo is really the balcony for the residents of the complex residents who live next to it on the 1st floor - it was not really so comfortable to "just use it" if a deck is important priority for you; there is a small balcony and table top gas barbecue unit there that we did use instead but it only has room for about 2 people on barstools; and the parking is in a carport, not a garage. The laundry is shared across units in a utility room outside the carport on the first floor (and not in the unit itself). If you care about such things (we didn't) of minor note the decor is a little dated and the living room furniture well worn.
Deborah, the owner, is a licensed real estate agent and very professional and easy to work with (ours was a last minute reservation). While I'd usually prefer a credit card for protection vs sending a check, I can vouch that we had no issues sending a check and getting back the security deposit. We enjoyed our visit and would return to this condo.
