His little cabin has new windows in the living room, newly tiled bathroom floor and new exterior siding!.If you enjoy antique 'cars and trucks and things that go' you will feel right at home in this cozy little Maine Cabin. This quaint cottage (#C Quarry Pines) is decorated with antique signs, vehicle memorabilia, games, LOTS of books, puzzles, and soft blankets for snuggling by the fireplace. When you arrive, we will have the lights on for your arrival, the heat turned up if it's a chilly day...and a welcome basket full of GramE Pat's goodies will be waiting for you on the dining room table... GrampE Bob makes a Welcome Sign with your name on it, and has it posted on the cabin, near the entry . All you need to do is stock up on some grocercies on your way into town, fill the refrig, crank up the fire in the parlor stove when you arrive, kick back, relax, and enjoy the Maine Woods!
This cozy Maine cabin, surrounded by pine trees, has an open living/dining room w/ cathedral ceiling, full bath,fully equipped kitchen with range, refrig, microwave, coffee maker, utensils, linens, TV,DVD,phone (FREE local calls), FREE INTERNET ACCESS AT COTTAGE (WiFi).We also offer internet access with a connecting cable (if needed) …but do not guarantee service or provide tech support. FREE wireless also available at local libraries museum and village internet cafe's.
Oh..BTW..a cell tower (ATT) was constructed in nearby Somesville this year! The whole town is wicked excited! :)
Cabin description: First floor bedroom, fully enclosed with 2 double beds,..2nd floor bedroom (not fully enclosed because of the cathedral ceiling) with 2 double beds. Open Living/Dining area...sleeps 4-6 people.

The little cabin is nestled in the woods (See #C on the map) on over 5 shared wooded acres near the National Park Beach and Ike's Boat Launch area on Echo Lake.
Basic Rental rates for the Hall Quarry Chalets:Spring ($1000 WK,Early Spring-Mid June) ; Late June, July, August: $1200 Week ; Fall $1000 WK.(Plus State of Maine 8% tax).
To Reserve a cottage, 50% rental deposit is due with the signed confirmation. The balance plus sales tax are due on arrival. VISA/MC/Discover Cards accepted.'Off Season' Daily Rate: $175-200@ Day plus tax. 3 Day minimum, when available.

of Somesville include: The Museum, Library, Church,
Post office, Bank, Convenience Store and Professional Offices.
The quaint Village Library and museum offer free internet wireless access and
breathtaking views of Somes Sound.
Within 5-15 minutes of the cottage are most of the Island villages
(Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor).
Acadia National Park,...hiking, biking, boating...and all the other
amenities of the park are easily accessible.
Somes Meynell Wildlife Sanctuary on Somes Pond is near the village.
Hiking trails around the pond and sanctuary headguarters library and educational programs.
Canoe and kayak rentals, and a public beach are available on Long
Pond (a short drive from the cottage).
