Rooms, rooms and more rooms.....
We shared this getaway with another couple and their 20 something daughter. The house was large enough that we all had our own living space, including our own private bathroom areas.
The lower level has its own kitchen area and living space as well as three huge bedrooms, two with their own private full bath areas.
The upstairs has two huge bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large walk in shower, whirlpool tub, and twin sinks. Big walk in closet.
The upstairs living, kitchen and two dining areas were open concept with cathedral ceiling, oh and a corner fireplace just in case. It was like a dance hall upstairs!
The kitchen has a main counter with a double sink, & dishwasher, along with two other island counters, one has small prep sink, and cook top for more than enough space for lots of activity! Separate electric stove with oven baked our pizza one night! So many cabinets it took awhile to find the pizza pans.
Yes it had dishes, silverware, big screen TV's, karaoke machine, popcorn machine, whatever you needed to have a great time away.
We cooked steak and shrimp on the large grill located on the upstairs deck area.
This property is in a great neighborhood located very close to the only pier in the Daytona Beach area that had a restaurant/bar/gift shop and fishing right on the Atlantic Ocean! In fact we even had lunch on that pier at "Crabby Joe's" one afternoon after walking along the beach.
The house is just one street away from the parallel street A1A, which is the closest paved road along the Ocean, but of course if you want, you can drive your vehicle on the Daytona Beach shoreline for a long distance to be even closer if you like.
We drove A1A several nights and enjoyed the skyline lights and dinner along the Oceanside at some nice places to dine. Make sure to go south just a little bit from the house and take in the Ponce Lighthouse. It is the second tallest working lighthouse in the USA! It offers a beautiful view of the Ponce Inlet and surrounding Intercoastal waterway, the Halifax River. This waterway has dolphin and manitee and lots of fishing opportunities. A stop along Bird Island Park was short but sweet!
Oh, did I mention that Daytona Speedway is only about 20 minutes away. Great view from the pressbox! Mall across the street.
We'll definitely consider this location for a future vacation!
We'll be calling Tammy again! :)
(Tommy we know where to turn on the water now!)
