Beautiful views and rolling hills, Cabin Cove Farm is owner operated and located right on the edge of Asheville's city limits in it's farm community, Leicester. Elegantly situated on 5 acres abound with wonderful county smells and sites, Sharon and Tyler have been renting their cabin to vacationers for 14 years and have a thorough understanding of how to help make your vacation the one to remember! Though it feels like you are in the country, you are only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. It is midpoint between Asheville, Waynesville, Hendersonville, and Maggie Valley. It is in an ideal location to see the entire mountain area.
The vacation rental cabin on the farm is a modern day hand-hewn hemlock log home that gives you the feel of the rustic yet allows you the amenities of modern life. It sleeps 6 adults comfortably. There is a sofa bed in the master bedroom so adding two small children to the group is possible to allow up to 8 guests.
The cabin is on a llama, Alpaca, and goat farm on 5 acres. The animals are like pets to us so they enjoy interacting with our human guests. No interaction is allowed between our guest pets and our farm animals. Our guest pets have lots of room to run, we have a 3/4 acre fenced in yard for them to run free in. We also have a swingset for the 2 legged young ones. There is a game table in the basement for those rainy days. In the basement is also a craft corner that is fully stocked with craft supplies for the young ones to express their creativity. Sharon teaches craft classes to the guests in our cabin on request and for a fee. You can also schedule a Reiki treatment.
