The headquarters for SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL is right next door at the Park City Marriott.

The owner is a retired Wisconsin Fire Chief and current professional ski instructor in Park City. Prior to purchasing a vacation home in the area this year, his condo served as his home away from home during the ski season. With demand for our units high and very positive reviews, we now rent them throughout the year.

The unit earned a 'gold' rating when it was listed by a property management company, and has modern appliances with ice-maker, a 32 inch flat screen TV with Comcast cable, and PREMIUM QUALITY LACROSSE QUEEN, EXTRA LONG SOFA BED WITH 7' MATTRESS! The KING BED is high-quality. A programmable electronic touch-pad door lock provides security and convenience, allowing you to go directly to your unit and enter using your unique code-no check-in required.

A large, newly-renovated shared hot tub on the first floor is the perfect place to soothe muscles and share ski stories after a spectacular day in Utah's legendary snow, or after exploring the wonderful summer environment. The large outdoor pool is heated to 88 degrees during winter.

Ski boots can be worn to the mountain, as the FREE TRANSIT BUS picks you up a quarter block away and drops you off very close to the lifts at Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort, each about a 10-minute ride, and at the people-moving gondola at Canyons Resort. A boot dryer is supplied in the unit, as are a humidifier, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.

The bus system is outstanding, with three different lines having stops, including an express route to downtown. Once you get to Carriage House from the airport via a shuttle van, a rental car is an unnecessary expense. We are able to book the shuttle for you using our bulk ticket purchase account. At $33.30 per person each way, this is the best deal we know of.

Cozy but enough room for three.

Chuck was great to deal with. Went above just being a landlord. While the condo was quite small it fit our needs fine. Close to the bus stops and restaurants so no need for a car. I wish the hot tub worked while we were there. The water was hot but no bubbles.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive review after your stay in Unit 422. I am working with the condo association to assure that the jet system on the hot tub is fixed promptly. While it is a welcome amenity with its 102 degree temperature, the jets should operate with the proper force and create a whirlpool effect. They have informed me that a service technician has been summoned, but due to the holiday period it was difficult to get one there promptly. The matter should be resolved soon.

Great Condo! Great People to Work With!

It was easy to see the Pride these owners put into the condo. It was updated to the max and very nicely decorated. Clean, Comfortable and in a Great Location! I only had 4 days yet wish I could have stayed longer. It felt like home in that short period of time.
Chuck was not only extremely easy to work with but very helpful with all aspects of my trip. He went out of his way to make sure I had a great trip including setting up transportation from and to the airport for me. Communication was Great and all questions I had were answered before I went on the trip. Super people to work with! Clean, comfortable, well maintained and decorated condo. Great Location in a Great area! The city bus takes you anywhere you want to go in the city and is on time at each stop. I would highly recommend this condo for either a short stay or a longer time frame.

Unit has a bed and pillows to guarantee a good nights sleep. Great communication with caring and helpful owners. Condo has been upgraded with new high quality appliances. Never heard a sound from adjacent rooms. Location is ideal with local free bus service across the street. There is a fireplace and owner provides special logs for that cold night glow when staying during ski season.

Homey Condo with Super Owners

Our stay at Carriage House met our expectations and was exactly as describe on VRBO. The unit was clean, homey and fully equipped to meet our needs. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony outside the living room and enjoyed the fresh, cool air and seeing the trees begin to turn.
We have rented several houses and condos through VRBO and dealing with the owner fully deserves A++. He is by far the most efficient owner we have dealt with. He provided ample information on the condo and the area surrounding the condo; e.g. information about the free transit bus service, shops and favorite restaurants (we really liked Fuego Italian Restaurant and Sammy's Bistro). We appreciated the bottle of wine upon our arrival and the little extra's like the welcome basket with granola bars, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The bath room was well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, bar & liquid bath soap, toilet paper, etc.
When staying in Park City we highly recommend the Carriage House and its owners.

We originally purchased one unit at Carriage House when I began working as a part-time ski instructor at Park City Mountain Resort in 2008. We were impressed with the convenient location of Carriage House and the quality of the amenities, including the year-round outdoor pool and the spacious indoor hot tub.

From the Owner

Carriage House is in the Prospector Square neighborhood of Park City, which is considered the most convenient location in town. It is near many affordable restaurants, both grocery stores, and many shops. The free Park City Transit System buses stop right alongside our building, making it very easy to move about Park City without the expense of a car. The Old Rail Trail passes by right across the street, giving access to biking, hiking, and snowshoeing on this 30-mile recreation trail. Downtown and Main Street are a mile away, and you can see the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort from our parking lot. Access to Deer Valley and Canyons Resort is excellent via car or transit bus.
