Welcome to a cozy, clean, quiet two-story country cottage located 5 miles from Campbellsville Kentucky. It sits on 19 acres of farm and timberland with walking paths groomed through the forrest, bordered by a creek on the northwestern property edge.
This extremely affordable cottage is fully furnished with a cozy den, three bedrooms, two furnished with a queen size bed and one with a king size bed (two upstairs bedrooms have low ceilings), a full bath, a full kitchen and a dining room. Bring your own food if you fancy cooking.
A great place to get out into the countryside and spend time with family, friends or by yourself.
I came to Kentucky for my brother's graduation from Campbellsville University. I woke up earlier than expected so I got my laptop out to write some. I 'm writing some scripts because I want to be a playwright. This house is perfect for writhing, it is very cozy & very, very quiet. At first, the silence was a little frightening. But after my mom, aunt, uncle, and brother's friend left & my sister got into the shower, my brain woke up and begged to be released. I sat at the small table in the kitchen and the red & white checkered table cloth reminded me of a bright sunny picnic even though it's 50 degrees and looks like rain. And I swear the little rooster on the table is staring into my eyes, not criticizing but listening intently to my thoughts. Keep an eye out for "That Night" and "The Second Coming" (working title)
This picturesque location provides a charmingly furnished country cottage that is especially clean.
The cottage is decorated with comfortable country accommodations in a country setting. Surrounded by native timber, pasture and grazing animals (horses, cattle) you shouldn't be surprised to see whitetail deer or a groundhog wondering about the landscape. You'll enjoy the walking paths and nearby hiking trails.
Visit Green River Lake, Lake Cumberland or a number of historic attractions all within an hours drive: My Old Kentucky Home, Wolf Creek Dam and Fish Hatchery, Makers Mark and other distilleries, Mammoth Cave, Shakertown, Janice Holt Giles Homestead,, Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson College.
