House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 6 Sleeps

This is the ONLY real log cabin home on 4+ acres at/above the treeline in Kachina Village with a view of the San Francisco Peaks. Enjoy over 900 square feet of private decking with patio furniture, bird and hummingbird feeder, large propane BBQ grill, flowers, and a chiminea(wood included) to enjoy the cool evenings. Watch the wildlife including elk from the decks or front porch where they have worn a path over the years or just walk the property (80 foot elevation change) from top to bottom and find your own quiet spot to reflect. In winter take one of the many sleds and slide down the natural private 300 yard sledding run; in summer take the inflatable kayak to one of the nearby lakes or Slide Rock state park.

Want a workout? Why pay to go to a local gym - feel free to use the Bowflex machine, free weights, or Treadmill while you watch your favorite video/show on the 42" flatscreen high-def TV with surround sound. Sore yet? Go for a soak in your own private hot tub and relax! There is a second TV downstairs in the dining area.

Enjoy the many books and DVDs in the entertainment center or just pick a HBO or Showtime movie to enjoy. Enjoy board games or the air hockey table. Enjoy views of the forest from every room - your nearest neighbor is over 80 yards away.

Simply PERFECT!

  • 5 of 5
After looking at multiple rentals in flagstaff we decided on this one and couldn’t have been happier. It was in a great location and the cabin was beautiful, the pictures just don’t do it justice. The owner was super helpful and we are definitely looking forward to coming back! Definitely a must stay if you are looking for a relaxing place that is still only 10 minutes from downtown.

Best Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5
Great Place for a family vacation! Very comfortable home that is built like a cabin. The hot tub was a hit with mom and dad. The air hockey was a nice surprise for the kids. A family patio with lounge chairs, a table and chairs to eat at, and a bbq was THE place to hang out. There is a nice patio for mom and dad upstairs outside the master bedroom. The open kitchen, dining room, and living room was very nice. The property was beautiful and great to walk around and hike. The owner was really helpful.

Great house, great time

  • 5 of 5
The home was very clean and comfortable, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We would recommend it to anyone looking to relax and get away for a while. The kitchen was well stocked, excellent place to cook meals in and enjoy. My wife and I took the downstairs bedroom, and my son and his wife the upper suite, 3 kids had plenty of room in the upper play area...Great for 2 families with room to get away from each other and not constantly bumping into each other!

High quality cabin

  • 5 of 5
This beautiful, handsome, warm, and welcoming home more than met our expectations. Our daughter was graduating and we were tired of hotels and looking for a place to stay, and where out of town family could congregate after the ceremony. Since it is close to flagstaff we were able to experience the following:
1. No inconvient travel time for anyone one.
2. Ability to enjoy the flagstaff downtown night,
3. The luxury to wakeup in a beautful quiet place and enjoy an early morning hike.
4. Have enjoyable evenings by the fireside.
5. Enjoy family breakfast and lunches in the big beautiful outdoor patio.
The owner responded to any inquiries in a timely manner, and showed care in insuring that our stay was enjoyable.
We truly, truly, recommend this high quality cabin.

Cozy Christmas Cabin

  • 5 of 5
Our family of six (3 adults and 3 children) enjoyed spending the week of Christmas at this log cabin. There was plenty of snow on the ground for sledding and snowball fights, and a quick drive down the road to a larger sledding area. The cabin is conveniently located outside of Flagstaff, just a short drive into town for groceries, restaurants and shopping. We also drove to Williams to explore Bearizona. The cabin is very clean, nicely decorated and has a well equipped kitchen for cooking family meals. We enjoyed warming up by the fireplace in the evening and watching movies on the large TV in the loft. The hot tub was also fun! The owner is very friendly and quick to respond to questions! We will definitely plan another family getaway to this cabin and recommend it to friends.
