The 60 sq. meter (646 sq. foot) apartment itself is on the second French floor of a 17th century UNESCO protected building, with oak wood parquet floors and two large windows overlooking the Seine. The apartment is situated on the riverfront, with a view over the Ile de la Cite, the Sainte Chapelle and the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, this apartment couldn't be more centrally located. Perfect for Romantic Couples or Families. It has been recently renovated . The main living area, accessed from a small separate entrance hall, is divided into an open-plan kitchen area, the dining area and a cozy den area as well as the quiet master bedroom which looks over an internal courtyard. The kitchen, with a large window looking over the inner courtyard, is fully equipped. There is a table and seating for four and a sideboard as well as an original decorative fireplace with gilded 19th century mirror in the dining area. The living/den area can be separated from the rest of the living room with a curtain for privacy. It is equipped with a very good quality convertible sofa-bed with a thick mattress.

Thank you for sharing the amazing Chez Claude with us. It was a refuge when the feet were too sore, or the occasional hang over was too large. It was the highlight of our trip! We are already planning our return visit.

Activity and Interests

The apartment is ideally located in Central Paris and in the heart of the famous Saint Germain. The location makes it easy for you to walk everywhere: Notre Dame de Paris is only a few minutes walk away from the apartment (you can even enjoy the view of the Cathedral from the windows of Chez Claude), the Luxembourg Gardens are really close by and perfect for a lovely picnic, and the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries are only on the other side of the Seine River which is only a short walking distance.

The Marais district is also close by and thanks to the train station and the buses you can go everywhere. The Saint Michel Station is only 5-10 minutes walk and from there you can travel and go to the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees...

  • You can enjoy Chez Claude for €290 per night for 1 Master Bed, €310 per night for 2 Double Beds and for families €330 per night for 2 Double Beds and 1 Single Bed, enabling your children to have their own beds.

    Minimum stay is 5 nights. However occasionally we are able to accept bookings for fewer nights, depending on availability.

    Price includes a personal check-in, tour of the apartment, fresh linen and cleaning.

    A 25% deposit is required when booking. This is non-refundable and is to be paid into the owner’s bank account on confirmation.
    The balance is required 60 days prior to your arrival at Chez Claude.

    Payment can be made in Euro €, GBP £, US $ and Australian $ by paying direct into the following bank accounts:
    Euro € - BNP Paribas
    GBP £ - Clydesdale Bank
    US $ - Wells Fargo
    Australian $ - NAB

    To pay by Credit Card a 5% surcharge will be added to the rental price. Visa & MasterCard are accepted.

    A ‘security deposit’ of €700 must also be paid in cash on arrival. This is refundable, and will be returned in full if there is no damage to the apartment.

    The renter is required to have a travel insurance policy with Public Liability cover for each person.

  • Bedroom: The 140cm*190cm double bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and fitted with fine French cotton sheets. The bedroom looks over a very quiet inner courtyard and also has a large wooden wardrobe and safe. Bathroom: The bathroom has a very large shower with glass doors, high-pressure dual headed shower, modern hand basin and toilet. There is a washing machine, a separate dryer and a hairdryer. Living Room: There is a table and seating for 4 and a sideboard as well as an original decorative fireplace with gilded 19th century mirror in the dining area. There is a large (37') flat-screen television with UK free to air cable and DVD player, XBox 360, a laptop computer & printer. The living/den area can be separated from the rest of the living room with a curtain for privacy. It is equipped with a very good quality convertible sofa-bed with a thick mattress that will comfortably sleep a couple. There is 1 single sleigh bed as well. Kitchen: The kitchen(fully renovated 2012)with a large window looking over the inner courtyard, is well equipped with a gas cooker with two burners, a large electric oven, microwave oven, large refrigerator/freezer, a professional espresso machine, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. Utility Room: Iron, ironing board, cot and High chair are all provided. The apartment is supplied with towels and sheets for all guests. Cleaning is inclusive.
