Vauxhall’s immediate proximity to all tourist attractions (especially to the parliament) makes it easy for visitors to overlook its own local gems, but there is plenty to see and do in your own backyard. The “Battersea Barge” provides unique cabaret-style entertainment on a real barge, with traditional British food on the side.
Or if you want to explore the local Portuguese and Spanish community, head down to South Lambeth Road and enjoy dinner at a REAL Taperia. Your very own “Aqua Brasserie” within the St. George’s Wharf complex guarantees an elegant dining ambience as well, while the New Covent Garden provides a veritable bouquet of experiences (if you can manage to get up in the middle of the night and make your way there).
