It is conveniently located one mile from the I-5 freeway, a scenic 15 minute drive from Orange County / John Wayne (SNA) Airport.
The naturally landscaped hillsides shield the Villa from the freeway so you will not experience any traffic noise which is common with many of the view homes in the area.
The Villa is located in the southern portion of San Juan Capistrano which experiences daily westerly winds which eliminates the need for air conditioning 99% of the year. However, the Villa has forced air heating and conditioning if you prefer a temperature controlled environment.
Our home is located far enough away from the coast, only 3 miles, so we rarely experience morning fog and wake up to mostly sunny days followed by cool nights. The adjacent cities of Dana Point, San Clemente & Laguna Beach typically experience foggy mornings and overcast days at certain times of the year due to their closer proximity to the coastline. The average temperatures in San Juan range from a high of 74 degrees to a low average of 51 degrees year round. Year-round we have relatively low humidity, which is why you will not get any mosquito bites on this vacation.
The gourmet kitchen is equipped with cooking or hosting in mind with a Wolfe 6-burner gas range, Bosch dishwasher, wine cooler, built-in Subzero refrigerator, and every possible cooking appliance and utensil you might need to prepare a memorable meal which can be served in the cozy dining room or at bar stool seating at extra large granite counter top. Filling up the kitchen with groceries not only saves you money on meals, but it is enjoyable to cook in this kitchen or BBQ outside with a great view of the hills.
The home has a beautifully landscaped private yard with a tropical resort feel. A hammock, BBQ, umbrellas, heat lamps and comfy furnishings make this the perfect home for small gatherings or medium size parties or just relaxing, anytime day or night.
There are also over 75 restaurants in San Juan Capistrano, many who deliver. The Villa also has separate interior laundry room and guestroom bath on the first floor with Bosch washer and dryer. A great advantage for guests because it allows you to pack lighter since you will not need as many clothes.
The interior is bright and sunny with lots of windows and San Juan Hill views. The ceilings are high with an open floor plan so when your cooking you can still converse with your guests as well as see the 47' high-definition flat screen TV in the living room. The Villa comes with full cable TV including HBO, Cinemax, and hundreds of channels.
The dining room has high-vaulted ceilings with mission-style furniture that comfortably seats six.
The master bedroom suite is on the first floor and has a fireplace, a very comfortable pillow top California King bed with Egyptian 600 thread count sheets, sliding glass doors to the private backyard, 12' ceiling with a fan that allows for very comfortable napping or sleeping with the windows open or closed.
It also has a flat screen HD TV with full cable service including HBO. In the master dressing area you will find a marble & glass shower stall, a state-of-the art, self-cleaning Jacuzzi tub, double granite sinks, private toilet area and an awesome cherry wood walk-in closet.
The second floor includes another master suite with a high end resort beach theme. It has private shower and dressing area, a separate toilet / bath / shower room, high-vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan and a very comfy queen bed with luxury sheets, a cozy comforter and lots of down pillows.
Also located on the second floor are two spacious office work spaces with a computer and printer with wireless high speed internet, task lighting and ergonomic desk chairs. A third 32' TV with games, DVD, & VCR is located in this room with two large wing back chairs for watching shows or reading. The home also offers a library of over 100 books if you are an avid reader. The hammock in the yard is also a lovely place to read.
A very comfortable Murphy queen size bed is hidden inside the beautifully paneled walls and will comfortably sleep two additional guests who can easily access the adjacent bedroom's bathroom.
The Villa is child friendly and well-behaved pet friendly with beautiful travertine stone and wood flooring throughout and fully fenced yard. A portable crib, high chair and pet beds are available upon request.
Less than 100 feet from our Villa is a gated swimming pool, with a 24 hour a day - 7 days a week heated Jacuzzi spa with dressing areas, showers and restrooms.

San Juan Capistrano is well known as an equestrian destination with many stables and boarding facilities. With over 53 miles of local trails and the Olympic Field Trials, San Juan truly has something to offer every equestrian.
We are probably one of the only cities with a hitching rail and corral with shady eucalyptus trees and a water trough AT THE GOLF COURSE.
